Our cottage is located in a charming little country village in the heart of Périgord, 10 minutes from the A89 Périgueux-Bordeaux interchange, 15 minutes from Mussidan (all shops and amenities), 20 minutes from Bergerac, 40 minutes from Périgueux, 1 hour 15 minutes from Bordeaux, 1 hour 30 minutes from Sarlat, 2 hours from Bassin d'Arcachon. With us it's the countryside, dogs bark, roosters crow, donkeys bray and frogs croak in the evening. Many hiking trails are accessible from the cottage. The back yard is full fenced.

The house sits opposite an organic Chateau, perfect for wine tasting, and next to a horse riding centre. The house is a 3 min drive (20 min walk) from the village of Ginestet with a wonderful Bakery and bar/pizzeria.
