The house is a 10 minute walk from the city centre of Alkmaar and 7 minutes to the train station. The train can take you directly to Amsterdam in 35 minutes. The cottage is suitable for a couple, solo adventurers, families (with children) and pets. A conveniently and centrally located summer house in Egmond aan Zee with the possibility to use an outdoor sauna (on request) in the winter months, from November to March Within 2 minutes, you can be on the beach and in the cozy fishing village with the many shops and terraces. The cottage was completely renovated in the spring of 2022 and equipped with underfloor heating, heat pump and solar panels.

Irene's Birdhouse

Irene's Vogelhuis is located behind our home on the Breelaan in Bergen. That is close to the cozy center, but also very close to the forest, the dunes and the beach. An ideal place and perfect base for two people who want to enjoy Bergen and its surroundings. The studio is equipped with every comfort, modernly furnished and clean. We charge a fixed price per night including cleaning fee and tourist tax. A dog is also welcome, we charge a little extra for that.

A light, fresh studio of 20 square meters where nothing is missing. To gain energy, be able to work quietly, also from conferences at the nearby hotel Zuiderduin. Enjoy the beautiful light falls through skylight. With a pellet stove for the (cozy) warmth. A nice separate shower and toilet. With Nespresso machine and cooking possibility for e.g. breakfast. Hot water. The sleeping area is shielded with a blackout curtain. Small seat in front of the door.

Het Span is wonderful! You look over the fields to the dunes and the mill. You have a private parking space and a private garden. We have done everything possible to keep the sunset view as much as possible. The apartment can accommodate four people, and we like it if you come with children. They will love sleeping in the bed and playing in the playhouse.
