The lake of Uri is only a few minutes away and it provides refreshing dips during hot summer days and beautiful walks at any point. Uri is the perfect spot to do any kind of outdoor activity. From windsurfing, swimming, biking to hiking, skiing and ski touring, the region has a lot to offer and you will for sure never get tired of it.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

In the beautiful, mostly fog-free Ybrig and the surrounding area, you will find everything to enjoy your vacation, e.g. skiing in the nearby Hoch-Ybrig and Oberiberg ski resort, cross-country skiing in the neighboring village of Studen-Unteriberg, snowshoeing. Bike and hiking tours, as well as swimming in the indoor pool Unteriberg or the Alpamare in Pfäffikon-Schwyz, which can be reached from us in 30 minutes by car.

Cozy country house with beautiful views; detached; in the countryside; 1.5 km from the village; 30-minute drive to the city, in the middle of the hiking area. Large playground, panoramic terrace (pergola), fire ring / grill. In the house is an independent 2-room apartment with separate access. The access road to the house is a narrow private road with passing places. Winter: a 4WD is required in the snow! Unfortunately, no pets are allowed as I am severely allergic.

You will stay in a small fine Baroque cottage. The center of Lucerne is within a 10-minute walk. The cottage is ideal for 1-2 persons. The mini room (total area 14 m2) has all the details that make your stay cozy and pleasant. It has a comfortable sofa bed, which you use as a sofa during the day. You have an outdoor space with table, chairs, armchairs and sun loungers. A fire ring is also available. Behind the house, a beautiful forest for hiking begins

Quietly located farm with mountain and lake views

Our paradise invites you to relax. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. We offer a small but lovingly furnished accommodation for families with max. 2 adults and 2 children or a couple. One double bedroom and a bunk bed, a private toilet/shower and a small tea kitchen with accessories. Located in central Switzerland on a farm with unique views. In 5-10 minutes by car, you are at great starting points for various activities. Arrival is only possible by car. There is no public transport connection.
