Zingsthus is the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation by the Baltic Sea. Nestled in a quiet side street, it’s just a short walk from the beach. You can enjoy cozy comfort all year round, complete with a terrace and sauna. If you’re dreaming of beach air, sandcastle building, birdwatching, salt water surfing, wind-in-your-hair cycling, and breathtaking sunsets, Zingsthus is the place for you! The name Zingsthus is a playful twist on „hus“ or house, as it’s said in northern dialects.

Our exceptional and very spacious apartment (180 sqm) is located in a renovated attic in the heart of the old town. It offers plenty of space for 6 adults. The open ground floor with kitchen, living area, dining area, library, guest toilet and terrace invites you to relax. The upper floor houses 3 large bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, as well as 1 additional bathroom. In two of the bedrooms, a baby crib or a folding bed for older children can be set up (€10/extra bed/night).

A beautiful, modern and rustic, low-energy half-timbered house with thatched roof, Moroccan tiles, oak floorboards and clay plaster walls awaits you. For activities there is a beautiful large garden with a forest swing, free steam sauna, outdoor shower and tub, a standup paddle, a paddle boat and 4 bicycles.

Our house is spacious and sunny. We can easily accommodate 8 to 10 and at a pinch 11 guests. The house is suitable for people with disabilities. WiFi is available. Separately, we have built a new sauna with an additional double bed/relaxation room and en suite bathroom. In the garden (4000 sqm) lies a large swimming pool (14x5m)), which can be heated on request. The apartment is in a historic building. We modernized in 2002. It was renovated in 2016, preserving its character.

The apartment was completely renovated in 2017 and offers cozy vacation comfort for everyone. It is important to us that all guests feel comfortable with us and are happy to answer questions and make individual arrangements. Saal is the ideal starting point for exploring the Bodden region. Here you can find numerous activities for nature and sports lovers such as fishing, hiking, cycling and kitesurfing. The nearest Baltic Sea beach can be reached in 20 minutes by car.

Our apartments have been completely rebuilt in traditional solid oak half-timbered construction and were completed in 2019. In the house there are two neighboring apartments with separate entrances. A few years ago, I bought the house with a large orchard meadow, pond and old barn in the middle of the countryside. Since then, I have lived here with my dog, 5 sheep and a few chickens. The rental income helps us to further develop the farm. This year, a cat from the animal shelter also moved into the barn. That's why I can no longer allow dogs in principle.
