Log house! saw a real cabin/summerhouse where it exudes grandma coziness! No TV or internet, but plenty of books and games. (There is a good 5G and 4G connection.) It is cozy when the wood-burning stove is lit, the house can also be heated with the heat pump, heating can be started before arrival. With 200 meters down to Fønsvig, where there is a bathing beach, as well as a small bathing jetty where you can just grab a morning dip. If you like fishing, you can go out and catch sea trout, as well as other fish species.

Kathrinelyst is an old family farm that was once built in the middle of the 19th century up here on the hill on the outskirts of Middelfart. From here, there is a wide view of Gamborg Fjord and the Little Belt. Here you will find good accommodation options. It is an obvious place to stay if you are going to a party in one of the nearby assembly houses or restaurants, hiking along the Little Belt Trail, playing golf, or visiting friends and family who do not have room to stay. Faurskov Mølle is located in the beautiful Brende Aadal - one of the most scenic areas on Funen. The area invites you to hike in forests and meadows. Likewise, the Funen fishing waters are within a short driving distance and Barløse Golf for a round, can be reached possibly by bike. Faurskov Mill is an old watermill with one of Denmark's largest mill wheels, diameter (6.40 m). There was originally a grain mill, which was later changed to a wool spinning mill.
