This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Fantastic stay in a great villa. Swimming pool on the roof is fabulous. Very well equipped property with everything you might need. Beds are really comfortable with ample air conditioning units in the rooms. Great location for touring Crete in the car, but a bit far out from Chania if you want to walk into the town. Taxis were readily available. Host is really helpful with recommendations.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Kedria! Along with the amazing view of Chania and Souda, the house was incredibly beautiful, clean, and provided everything we needed for our stay in Chania. The hosts were extremely hospitable and responded to every question and request promptly. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was an extension of their home. They provided all of the necessary baby gear and essentials for our little one, who also had a great time enjoying the pool. We’ve never had more caring and responsive hosts. They gave us so many travel tips and food recommendations that made our stay here in Chania one of our most memorable vacations. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

We had an incredible stay with our family. The photos do not do it justice. It’s so beautiful and so peaceful. There were many lovely welcome food and drinks that we really appreciated. We had many activities and family in the area so we were out and about but were always looking forward to coming back to enjoy the house, the pool, and the gorgeous view. We also loved the hot tub when we got a little chilled from swimming since it was a bit early in season. We made sure to have a day to just do that. We used the indoor/outdoor theatre one night and that was really fun. All the rooms and the kitchen were perfectly appointed. Everything was so well thought out. We can’t wait to come again and stay longer and have time to use the outdoor kitchen, the gorgeous dining room and enjoy the beautiful pool and view again. Discovering Crete for the first time and being able to relax in this villa is something truly exceptional. The panoramic view is breathtaking! Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! Amazing home.

Die Unterkunft war besser als erwartet. In Realität wirkte alles größer als auf den Fotos. Wir waren deshalb positiv überrascht. Der Blick auf Meer und Berge war schön. Die Gastgeber bemühten sich sehr und kommunzierten wunderbar. Wir könnten uns vorstellen, wieder zu kommen.

Maison avec 2 grande chambres et salle de bains moderne. Grand salon, tv, cuisine equipé avec tout le necessaire. Petit plus important Eau, Gateaux, Café nespresso et capsules pour votre arrivée ! La Vue est impressionsnte sur Falasarna Beach avec la piscine a debordement, bbq, chaises longues … 500m de Chemin de terre pour arrivée au complexe de 4 maisons, rien de bien compliqué en voiture. Logement propre et accueil au top. Si vous voulez plus de calme … prenez une des maisons sur le coté ! Mais pour nous au mois d’octobre c’etait assez calme … Et un super Restaurant Taverna Spilios la rue juste plus bas pour manger … un des meilleur de Crete ! Emplacement parfait pour visiter Balos et autres spots.

The villa exudes luxury throughout with thoughtful details that ensure a high level comfort during your stay. We couldn’t make full use of the pool (price to heat was a bit high) but our daughters were braver and took a few quick dips. We stayed over Easter and planned visits into the local town and surrounding area to immerse ourselves in the celebrations and communities which was so memorable. We’d definitely love to stay again- it was a wrench to leave!!

We cannot have asked for a better place to stay in Chania. The house is a gorgeous villa perfect for a large family vacation. The location is on a breathtaking hill overlooking the city and old Harbor. There are tons of windows letting in natural light. You can be an old town in eight minutes by car or about 45 minutes walking. There are plenty of local mini markets and restaurants nearby. Michalis was a model host, and gave us plenty of recommendations for day trips, restaurants, treats, activities, and gave us very kind gifts throughout our stay. If we ever return to Crete, we will be staying here again!

Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Dazu beigetragen haben die unglaublich lieben Besitzer und Helfer des Hauses, in Kombination mit dieser tollen Unterkunft. Wir waren ab der ersten Minute von der Insel und den Menschen überwältigt. Ich kann alles nur wärmstens empfehlen dieses Land und ihre Menschen kennenzulernen. Sie werden es lieben. Super stylisches und sauberes Haus. Alles war absolut liebevoll und stylisch eingerichtet. Wir hatten noch nirgends ein so gut ausgestattetes AirBnB. Küchenutensilien, Kaffeekapseln, Waschmittel, Seife, Duschgel, ausreichend Handtücher - es gab wirklich alles was wir brauchten. Zusätzlich gab es einen süßen Willkommenskorb. Zum Meer ist man in 5 Minuten gefahren. Der Pool in der Villa ist traumhaft schön. Die drei Schlafzimmer sind großzügig und jeweils mit eigenem tollen Bad. Wir durften sogar schon deutlich früher in die Villa als der eigentliche Check-In. Wir waren begeistert und rundum glücklich.

Beautifully constructed and well appointed home in a very peaceful area! Beds are so comfortable compared to other European stays. We traveled to a few different beaches- sandy to rocky- in under an hour. Afrata beach just 5 mins drive or 20min walk. Super relaxing stay!

Der Urlaub in der Unterkunft war super, die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten um Unternehmungen zu machen (am besten mit dem Auto) und lecker Essen zu gehen. In der Unterkunft hatten wir eine perfekt ausgestattete Küche, ein sauberes Bad 4 Balkone und immer einen sauberen Pool. Eine Sache gibt es zu bemängeln: Die Betten spezifisch die Matrazen sind ausbaufähig. Eine kleinen Anmerkung zu der Buchung ist auch noch zu erwähnen, die Villa ist zwei geteilt, in eine obere und untere Unterkunft, aber beide sind separat von einander. Wenn es nochmal dazu kommen sollte würde ich mich zu 98% nochmal für die Unterkunft entscheiden.

La maison et son extérieur sont très beaux. Le cadre est incroyable : nous étions seuls au milieu des champs d'oliviers, aucun bruit, et chevres et moutons se baladent autour de la maison. Nous recommandons cette maison ! Seuls bémols : le chemin permettant d accéder à la maison ne peut pas se faire avec n importe quel vehicule (cailloux, bosses, trous,) et l'absence de nécessaire de cuisine minimum (eau, huile d olive, café) qui seraient pourtant attendu à ce niveau de prestation.

Wir hatten die Villa für eine Woche gebucht und waren mehr als zufrieden. Perfekte Kommunikation, leichter Check-In. Die Villa hat eine grandiose Lage, das Haus hat massig Platz und alles was man braucht. Der Pool war auch sehr schön. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den tollen Service und Gastfreundlichkeit der Gastgeber. Tolle Restaurantempfehlungen und Erreichbarkeit. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub und eine Empfehlung wert.

The Airbnb was fantastic, very modern and spacious with an amazing view. The host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and also during our stay. One of the best Villa’s I have ever stayed in, the pictures do not do it justice. Highly recommend choosing this for your stay in Greece. Only bad thing is that we had to leave to come back home!

We loved our stay in Crete and it was comfortably the best hospitality we've ever received from a host. Manolis was super responsive to messages (usually within 15 minutes) and George looked after us amazingly well (without being intrusive) and was always so happy. The villa was exactly as described and there were a couple of days where we cancelled our plans to explore in favour of sitting by the pool and looking out over the mountains, watching the vultures and other birds. So nice. The butcher recommended by Manolis made for some delicious barbecues and was very reasonably priced. Really beautiful and relaxing location with the best hosts. Would definitely come back in future.

We’ve never experienced an Airbnb like this – in terms of both the villa and the hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Eftychis and his wonderful mother – you made our stay unforgetable! We were seven people, including three children (one toddler), and everything was just perfect. The villa is spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely well-equipped – the kitchen had top-tier appliances, and the baby gear was modern, clean, and like new. The house is set in a peaceful location with a breathtaking sea view. When we arrived, a delicious homemade Greek salad and cookies were waiting for us – such a warm welcome! Eftychis was available via chat the whole time: kind, helpful, and always with great local recommendations. This place truly combines beauty, comfort, and care. We’d come back without hesitation.
