Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with its own garden, sauna and hot tub and direct access to the hiking trails in the beautiful Harz Mountains. The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

A very warm ambience was created with a lot of love for detail. A special feature is the private parking right in front of the private entrance and the large private terrace. Blankenburg (Harz) is located between Quedlinburg and Wernigerode and thus offers countless opportunities to start excursions or hikes together.

Whether for hiking in the Harz Mountains, mountain bike tours, or a trip to Wernigerode and Quedlinburg – this is your ideal retreat.

Our apartment has been family-owned for over 100 years and has always been home to people who had a close connection to the Harz Mountains: as farmers of cows in the Upper Harz Mountains, as foresters in the forest and as passionate hikers and nature lovers. Located directly on the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg and a nature reserve, directly surrounded by river, rocks and a historic hydroelectric power station, you will find a unique accommodation on an extensive area. Here you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. For more active days, a private universal sports field and a summer tent from April to October are available, or you can take advantage of other accommodation offers. The old forester's house offers you about 5000 m² of garden with spring pond, fireplace and barbecue area, plenty of open space and parking on the premises in a quiet forest location.

With sauna, fireplace, library, garden, sun balcony and technically up to date, nothing is missing for a perfect vacation, whether as a family or in romantic togetherness. The beautiful wooden floors, the large windows, the kitchen-living room and the distinctive bedrooms in different styles of the 20th century, make the stay an experience.

Our apartment Up'n Spitzböhn is located on the 2nd floor of our guest house Anni and was lovingly renovated by us. The apartment overlooking the beautiful Harz landscape is open and quietly located. On 75 square meters, it can accommodate 3 guests. The living and dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom are on one level. Another sleeping accommodation is available in the open attic. We will provide a crib and high chair on request.

We offer you a very well equipped, bright & modern apartment in a quiet location, not far from the Hasseröder Ferienpark with sauna and swimming pool and the Harzer narrow-gauge railway. Outside, you can enjoy the sun on your own terrace or end the day with a barbecue.
