This house has a beautiful view of the lake!! The complementary water activity’s are worth booking!! We enjoyed our stay and will come back!! Make sure to walk out on the dock at night and look at the stars!!

Our stay at the Great Pond Airbnb was incredible! The house was beautiful, cozy, and fully stocked with all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the paddle boat—it was magical to take it out on the lake early in the morning and watch the sunrise. Truly a dream! Finding the place initially was a bit tricky (we missed some details in the instructions), and cell service in the area is spotty, so definitely screenshot directions beforehand. Once settled, though, it was perfect. Being just over an hour from Acadia National Park was a huge bonus! We had a blast hiking, especially on Precipice Trail (challenging but amazing!) and Beehive Trail for a slightly easier, but still fun option. This spot offered the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway!

It’s a lovely cabin, the hot tub is a plus. It’s also fairly private since it’s last cabin of the property.

We had a great two nights here and enjoyed the hot soak and the sauna. It was near many amenities and also felt very removed. Matt’s was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our stay was perfect and the escape we hoped it would be.

Adorable cottage, newly renovated. Perfect for two with an open space loft for one more. Kitchen is well stocked right down to the coffee. A good location if visiting Fort Knox, Mt. Barrie and not too far from Bar Harbor if that is on your list. Great stay, highly recommend. Beautiful view and private.

Great little cottages, perfect location, awesome host!!

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs across the country and I’m not exaggerating when I say that Lydia’s place was one of the cleanest and most well-maintained homes that we’ve been in. The property and scenery are breathtaking. The numbers of birds and chipmunks that entertained us while we sat on the back deck was surprising. We ate all of our meals with the exception of lunches at the cabin and had everything we needed to prep and cook our food. This trip was all about relaxing and Lydia’s home was everything we needed.

Absolutely loved our stay here! If you're someone who enjoys being close to nature and traveling with your dog, this place is perfect. The surroundings are peaceful and green. Fabiola was super friendly and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The house rules were clear and straightforward, which made the whole experience stress-free. We felt really welcomed and comfortable the entire time. All in all, a great stay—we’d definitely come back!

The cabin was breathtaking, with a history painted and photographed among her walls. Perfect amount of space to accommodate a family should you have one. The morning sunrise was spiritual, and humbling. Host was incredibly friendly and accommodating for our dog. Arjuna. Will absolutely be returning. Thank you for an amazing and beautiful experience.

Probably the most amazing vacation rental setting we're ever experienced. This place sits in a nature preserve on 2.5 acres of beautiful Maine coastline. Going to bed and waking up with seals and wave noise, watching Bald Eagle fishing... Just like living a Discovery Channel dream. North of the property is the preserve, 300' South is your first neighbor. Craig/Kadedra were super responsive, extremely nice and helpful. The house is a 70' blast from the past, well maintained and has all the pluses (dishwasher, washing machine, good internet). We will be back!

Cute little cabin in the woods!! Super clean, check in was very easy. Nichole was very easy to communicate with. The cabin was perfect for a quick weekend. We would definitely stay again!

Colleen is a wonderful host who was kind enough to bring us a lovely breakfast, local and even treats for our pup. The view from this seaside cottage is nothing short of spectacular and you’re right on the doorstep of some of the most scenic coastlines of Acadia National Park. The cottage is rustic but we felt right at home and were so touched by all of the thoughtful extra touches like snacks, fresh cut flowers, and a fridge stocked with water, sports drinks, and cheeses. It really was a treat and we hope to return soon!

Such an absolutely magical place to stay! My pup and I stayed for a month while I worked and played. Gorgeous views of the Beech Hill Pond and close enough to various towns for hiking, sightseeing and enjoying local food. Spent time on Deer Isle, MDI at Bar Harbour & Acadia, and even made the trek to Lubec. if you want to experience a wee bit of winter and early spring, mid to late March into April was the perfect time. We had a few inches of snow fall within the first few days of the trip. Don't hesitate to book this cottage!

Great place to stay close to Acadia and downtown Ellsworth. We took advantage of the free Level 2 charger next door to keep our EV charged. Kristan was quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely come back!

Cozy little cabin right by the road that goes to Acadia national park, which makes it very convenient for people planning to visit Acadia and Bar Harbor. It had everything we needed: comfy bed, coffee maker, little fridge, functional bathroom, television. Communication with Maria was great, as she was always friendly and responded quickly to questions.

We had a beautiful stay. Perfect for my family of five. The home was comfortable and welcoming. We had a great time!

Maureen and Rob were fantastic hosts! You can tell they were born to provide hospitality and want you to enjoy yourself. Maureen welcomed us as soon as we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. They were so quick to respond anytime we reached out with any questions or needs. The location was so serene and peaceful; the views of the pond within the home and anywhere on the property were beautiful. Having the opportunity to kayak was the cherry on top! Though we stayed here to visit Acadia, the hour drive seemed to fly by because of the scenery; it was nice to be tucked away from the bustle of Bar Harbor as it were.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Rachel was an amazing host! She even put together a list of vegan friendly restaurants for us which made finding places to eat so much easier! I have stayed at many Airbnb’s and I rank Rachele at the very top of hosts for her friendliness, helpfulness, and quick response time

The cottage was so cozy and peaceful. We loved relaxing and enjoying the view. We arrived in the dark and Kelly was very responsive when we had troubles because of that. Would definitely stay again!

I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. It felt like home! I brought my food for my three day stay because I didn't want to worry about finding a restaurant/diner every day. The kitchen had everything I needed, including sharp knives, cutting boards, and oh yeah, the cutest Le Creuset tea kettle. I enjoyed returning to Fern Hollow after hiking all day and being able to prepare my meal. Eating and relaxing by the firepit was exceptional - with s'mores for dessert!

Wonderful house in Ellsworth, with cozy cottage vibes and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Only a short drive away from Bar Harbor and Acadia Nat'l Park, but it's a great place to retreat to after a day of crowds and activities. Host was incredibly communicative, even when our check-in plans fluctuated, and the personalized treats were a welcomed bonus. Once we were inside and settled, we were bummed to only be staying one night. We could have spent an entire add'l day just enjoying the peaceful backyard. Would highly recommend if you're looking to visit Bar Harbor, but want to stay outside the hustle and bustle of town.
