The place was in a great location. Very quiet and peaceful. There is a grocery store about 2-3 blocks away from the house. The home had everything we needed , expect extra trash bags which we needed to ask for more.

I enjoyed my stay here it was well stocked with everything i needed. The area was nice and quiet, neighbors were pleasant and Jocy was very responsive. If I had any concerns or questions Jocy responded immediately I would highly recommend staying here.

Jim was a fantastic host. Very responsive and timely in his communications and support for our needs during our stay in their place. Their home was comfortable and well appointed with additional amenities you don't often see in AirBnB spaces, like N'espresso appliances and supplies. We would definitely consider repeat visits! We had a great time staying at the Hideaway Apartment in Palatine! It was easy to get inside and the apartment was nice. The place was very clean and organized, we felt very comfortable! There is a second floor deck, a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning! It was easy communicating with the hosts, overall it was a great experience staying at the Hideaway, would recommend!

Only got to stay one night but it was a great hidden gem right outside the city! Needed a break from all the hustle and bustle. Had everything I needed, and the bed was so cozy! Christine and Dan always responded to me very quickly. Would stay again!

Great location with lots of nice bars and restaurants locally and easy access also to the CTA blue line to Downtown and O’Hare. Apartment was ideal and was just as described. Would recommend and if ever back in Chicago would look to stay here again.

We came for The Weeknd concert in the city, so we got ready there, then spent the night and morning in the house. It was a beautiful house and felt super peaceful and safe! The beds were insanely comfy and we all slept so well! So much space! Everything was just so homey and comfortable.

It was as pictured and suited our needs. Clean and well organized. When we reached out we were responded to promptly and thoroughly. The location is good and walkable. If planning to go to Navy Pier or the Miracle Mile to go shopping (or something in that general area of Chicago), expect about a 40 - 60 min drive.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic weekend at Gladys’ place. She was super responsive, and check-in was easy with clear instructions. The apartment was cozy and modern, but still felt homey—like our own space for the weekend. It was clean, well-kept, and had thoughtful touches like a Brita pitcher, fresh towels, sheets, and a stocked kitchen. The layout was cute and the decor was simple but perfect—more personality than a hotel room without being cluttered. One of the highlights was the bus stop literally 10 feet from the door, which made getting into southern Chicago (via bus to the Blue Line) super convenient. We also loved walking to Dunkin’ each morning once we realized how close it was. The location felt peaceful but still had a few cute restaurants nearby. We never ran into the hosts, but it felt private even with the shared entry. This stay is in our top 5 Airbnbs—perfect for a couples getaway! Thank you, Gladys, for being such a thoughtful host!

My family and I were in town for my nephew's graduation, and Marika's home was truly beautiful, so inviting, and comfortable. She definitely paid attention to details that made the stay even more cozy. Beautiful property, and well appointed! Easy lovely, 10 minute walk to town, also. We had a great stay for an extended wedding weekend with our entire family. Adrian's home was clean, modern, and well appointed. The beds were all very comfortable and linens were very soft. The neighborhood has a welcoming, upscale vibe, which added to our peace of mind. A quick heads-up: the unit is a second-floor walk-up accessed via a private entry. Inside, as you can see has the spiral staircase; a unique architectural feature, but if you’re traveling with heavy luggage, it’s something to keep in mind. Pack accordingly! 😉 Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again and agai
