He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. The Nut House

Glamping in the trees. Come experience the beauty and serenity of being in the forest in a unique craftsman treehouse on beautiful Camano Island just an hour and ten minutes north of Seattle. Your private parking and short trail leads to a short cable bridge into a cozy 150 sq. ft. cabin 13 ft above the forest floor. You’ll be surrounded by mahogany walls with a cozy full size futon up in the loft. If the futon is too cozy a campsite is available. The treehouse is warm even on chilly nights.

The Hiker's Cabin serves as an ideal base for daily excursions to explore Olympic National Park and local beaches. Walk directly from the Hiker’s Cabin onto trails leading into the park!
