Ground level private studio overlooking old growth Maples and fern-lined Indian Creek. Perfect hiking base for a family, couple or singles. Sleeps 4 Quick hike to our creekside fire-pit for roasting marshmallows or just relaxing by the creek. Olympic National Park, ocean beaches, Hoh Rainforest, Lake Crescent and Sol Duc Hot Springs are all an easy drive away. Black Ball ferry runs to Victoria, B.C. from Port Angeles. The Carriage House

Our vacation rental is located on ten secluded and wooded acres on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula, surrounded by lakes, hiking trails,and gorgeous sunsets on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Our guesthouse is named The Carriage House as it sits above a three-car garage. The rental has a full kitchen and bath, with a wood burning stove in the living area. It is a quiet, peaceful and great place to relax. Enjoy our quiet yet close location, listening to the wind in the trees, not traffic going by.

(Walking access is only 2 mi away). We are nestled in the middle of the gateway to Olympic National Park, and everything this area has to offer. We are only 10 miles from Port Angeles. Welcome, Hikers! Our 30 acre property adjoins the verdant lowland forest of Olympic National Park. From the shared lower deck, sit and enjoy your coffee or wine and look right down the Elwha Valley to the majestic Olympic Mountains with a view of the Elwha River and Mt. Carrie glacier. The Hiker's Cabin serves as an ideal base for daily excursions to explore Olympic National Park and local beaches. Walk directly from the Hiker’s Cabin onto trails leading into the park!

Mountain View Shire Getaway

Relax and enjoy the amazing view from the deck of this unique glamping site. This hillside getaway was created from a culvert and planted into the side of a hill, nestled among trees and forest flora. Low voltage lighting, propane on demand hot water, cook top and heater. The view overlooks a pond, the valley below with Mt. Baldy in the background. An outdoor shower also has an awesome view! This countryside glamping site is near the ONP, Discovery trail, and Port Angeles.
