It was important to us to maintain the original character and combine it with today's living comfort. Regionality, sustainability and individuality were our compass. If you like peace and quiet and want to spend a vacation close to nature, this is the perfect place for you. Our vacation home is located in the old village center of Petkum, close to the ferry terminal to Ditzum. From here you can enjoy the vastness of East Frisia on both sides of the Ems - whether on foot or by bike or while fishing on one of the many canals (with guest card) or while watching the wild geese. Culturally, Emden also has plenty to offer (art gallery, state museum, ...).

Our beautiful, elaborately renovated Gulf house invites everyone seeking tranquility and relaxation. The village (Loquard) we live in is located between Emden and Greetsiel and allows excursions to the East Frisian islands or to the coast only 1.7 km away. Extensive bike tours can also be taken along the North Sea coast or you can simply relax with a book under our beautiful apple tree. The house is designed for 2 people and is not suitable for pets!

Monumental bakery in the centre of Rysum: Living in an exceptional atmosphere. Spacious living-dining kitchen, three bedrooms, bathroom with corner tub, a shower room. Relax in this special and quiet place to stay. Located directly on the Petkumerhafen, it offers many opportunities for bike tours and walks. Several times a day, the ferry goes to the idyllic fishing village of Ditzum. Emden and the East Frisian surrounding area offer many attractions and leisure opportunities. The kitchen has a dishwasher. If necessary, two guest beds can be provided for children. Linens and towels are provided.

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. It is located in the quiet village of Loquard. It is about 2 km to the dike edge, 1 km to the baker (Rysum), 11 km to other shopping (Pewsum) or 12 km (Emden) The Tidehuus is a good starting point for extensive bike tours in East Frisia.
