We live here a large part of the garden, and like to share the richness of the outdoors with others.

In the evening, you will be treated to the sun setting over the Mookerheide, which can be admired from your private deck terrace. Sleep under a large dome roof with all the facilities in the house. The kitchen has a 6-burner gas stove, a large oven, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher and various appliances. The designer bed is in the living room. On your private terrace is the outdoor shower. In the garden overlooking the Rhine, there are various seating and BBQ areas.

Welcome to our oasis of tranquility. Being located on a historical and green location in the Achterhoek, you can fully enjoy the nature. Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

The cities of Kleve and Emmerich with a very nice Rhine promenade are very easy to reach on foot in 1 hour or by bike in 0.5 hours.

When you're staying in a tree, you get caught up for a moment in the tree's life. You will feel very strongly the rhythm of the day and night in nature. You relax when you move along at this rhythm. The birds that ring in the day and the birds that ring in the night. You can see the landscape from a higher perspective. You look at the world a different way, from above. Sleeping in a tree, literally sleeping among the branches, is an indescribable experience.

The large lawn is perfect for a game of soccer or badminton!

The cottage is surrounded by a lot of nature and a beautiful lake with weeping willows. The A-frame house offers plenty of privacy with 2 hectares of garden. The lake house has a bright living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and bedroom. Our two Scottish Highland cattle are behind our cottage and are a real highlight. There are also many birds, hedgehogs and rabbits in the garden. A BBQ is available on the terrace excl. gas bottle.
