We were very pleased and will be back. We have stayed at several places in Lawrence and this one was by far the best. Most of the homes or apartments have a shut up old musty smell. Not a clean and open smell. This home was clean and nice and felt like home as soon as you opened the door. I just wish we had found it sooner. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

This house was perfect for our family of four. Our kids are too little to get to the top bunks, but they loved sleeping in the "big kid beds" on the bottom. They had fun playing with all the toys and books, and there's a little park nearby with swings and a jungle gym. The house was comfortable and well-appointed, with a great view of the lake. We'll definitely be back!

Sitting on the porch at night looking at the amazing dark sky is worth the trip alone. Go visit the amazing flint hills in this great home.

This unique accommodation is as fun and funky as the photos, so you'll enjoy exploring it, as we did! The kitchen (well stocked) is really the only updated space, and the rest of the house is on the shopworn side, but the decor definitely makes up for it, and there's so much room to spread out. The beds are in fine shape, which is something that matters a lot to us. You may want to know that the second bathroom with the shower is not en suite, which was a little bit of a surprise. It's at the opposite end of the house (past the kitchen) from the three main-floor bedrooms. But the location actually made it easier for our party -- two couples -- to share the shower since the other bath has only a tub. The location can't be beat. It's such a beautiful and walkable neighborhood! I also should add that both the property manager and owner are extremely responsive. We discovered the home's hairdryer had gone missing, and we were most grateful that they acted quickly to replace it.

This place was beautiful. We booked this for the unbound gravel race so it's was 4 guys and 4 bikes. Middle of town and walkable to everything. The Flint Hills Nature trail is right outside your door, great for a shakeout ride. Host was great too!

Nice, spacious place. Very clean. Cute decor and furnishings. Walkable to campus and Aggieville. Easy to find and plenty of parking. We had trouble getting in touch with the manger after hours (emergency line)- but they were able to help us the next morning to resolve an issue with the windows. Would recommend this rental for those visiting Manhattan!
