Waterfront holiday rentals in Encounter Bay

Had a lovely stay. Everything was exactly as described and true to the photos. The view here is awesome! Very relaxing. Lots to do and see as well. Thank you.

Martha was very easy to communicate with, and very friendly! The accommodation had everything we needed - including Netflix, board games, and classic DVDs! Upon arrival, our hosts had left a lovely gift for us which we did not expect! Central to everything too - restaurants, cafes, attractions. The only hiccup we had was the key return in the lockbox which was located at our hosts letterbox 5mins away from the accommodation - we were already out of Victor when we remembered and had to turn around!

Denise's place was perfectly located and easy walking distance for what we wanted to do in Victor Harbor (Granite Island and the Cockle Train). In addition, the view from the living space and main bedroom to both Granite Island and the Bluff were superb. It's a neat, tidy space, plenty of room for our family of 4. Had everything we needed for a couple of nights getaway. Thanks Denise

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in! The location was absolutely perfect — close to everything and made getting around so easy. The space itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and clearly well cared for. It had everything we needed and more. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-quality place in a great location.

A great apartment with everything you need. Can walk to the beach and food outlets. Great view and lovely sitting on the front deck watching the sunset. Monica was very helpful and kind. If we lived in SA we would visit much more often!

The accomodation was great for 5 people. Amenities were great with very clear instructions on how to access apartment. We really enjoyed our stay, we would return and recommend to others. As other reviews pointed out the two bedrooms which are facing the external hallway, the light coming in at night is very bright even with the blind down, suggest people staying in these rooms bring a sleep masks. There were fans provided for the rooms which do not have air conditioning, however leaving the front air-conditioner and the back one on with bedroom doors open would work also.

It's not often that your expectations are Exceeded. This property represents great value and was first-class in all aspects. We were well informed and communicated with regularly. I added 2 additional days, which were easily accommodated. We will be staying here again. Jessica and Aron were great hosts and we thank them for sharing their wonderful apartment. Sometimes, when you arrive the photos tend to be more generous than reality! Not here! The moment I walked in and saw the space and that million $$ view, WoW. You will not be disappointed.Both front bedrooms have the beach view too.

Beautiful nicely laid out clean cottage for a weekend getaway or for a longer stay overlooking lake Alexandrina. Included breakfast was superb. Russel was a very responsive host. The cottage was well setup with all amenities. Plenty of bird life and heritage around location. Thank you Russel for the great stay.

This was our third wonderful stay at Ochre Point Beach House. Jess and Tyson were incredibly responsive and thoughtful throughout our visit. The house was perfectly equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need—they truly thought of every detail. The views were absolutely breathtaking. We also really appreciated the little extras, it all made us feel so welcome and at home. It’s clear that Jess and Tyson genuinely care about their guests’ comfort, and it made all the difference. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxing, well-thought-out stay!

Would book again in a heartbeat! We had a wonderful week away with the family. Plenty of room for everyone and the kids utilised the play area downstairs. The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful and we loved being able to pop across the road to the beach for a walk or enjoy an incredible sunset. Gretchen was always responsive to messages and lovely to deal with, thank you.

This was the perfect place to relax. Beautiful views and an aesthetically pleasing home. Beds were comfy and I adored the seating that was perfect to curl up and read a book in. I have recommended the Sunflower Cottage to friends and family and will be returning to stay in the future!

We stayed here for a work trip and it was exceptional. The house was in excellent condition, comfortable and a great place to relax after a busy day workshopping with the team. We would highly recommend staying here again. SA Stays were a great host and were very responsive with any questions we had leading up to the trip. With different team members staying in one house it was great having the extra space where everyone could have some alone time if it was needed. Having enough bedrooms to cater for everyone was a big hit. Definitely a must stay for anyone heading to Aldinga in a larger group. 5-stars!

We had a fantastic stay.The location was amazing being right on the beach with a coffee shop/general store and restaurant below. It was also close to McLaren Vale and all the wineries. The house is exactly as listed and had lots of space for a large group. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb and can’t wait to go back again!
