Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ericeira

Lovely holiday house. Didi was our point of contact and she was very friendly and helpful. There were 7 of us, all adults and the house was ideal for us.

We had a great stay in Lisboa at Chiho and Nuno’s apartment. It was close enough to Alfama to experience the culture but not close enough that it was noisy or busy where we were. I felt very safe. The apartment had everything we needed and was well-equipped. Thanks for having us

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the historic center of Sintra. It’s a beautiful small town area to be in. The apartment has everything you need. The location is very cool overlooking the main square. We enjoyed watching the town wake up in the mornings. So many restaurants and bakeries just steps from the front door. We had fun with that after coming from the Azores which are very quiet and remote. In the off season of early May, Sintra closes down by 7 pm. There are very few restaurants or shops open once the day tripping tourists leave. We were surprised by that but didn’t mind it as we were tired after our days spent walking around palaces and castles and beautiful gardens. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don’t have mobility issues. There are 33 steps to climb once inside the building. Climbing them was worth it for the views of the historic center of Sintra.

Zuzanna und Tibor waren immer hilfsbereit und die Möglichkeit Boards direkt vor Ort auszuleihen, war genial. auch der Kontakt zu der Surfschule war einfach und sehr angenehm. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für einen tollen Urlaub.

It’s our second time here and our stay was as welcoming as the first. Ana and Jorge’s place is perfectly situated near great restaurants one right next door plus a 15 minute walk to Marquês Pombal and Parque Eduardo Sétimo which has a magnificent view of Lisbon and of the castle from the top. Ana and Jorge always checked on us and left a variety of local foods and beverages upon our arrival that we were so grateful for. Even during our stay Jorge left delicious pastries by the door so not to bother us. Highly recommend this apartment. We will definitely return!!

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Altus with seven adults and four kids. The house was clean and comfortable and had plenty do space for everyone. The kids loved the playroom and the games room, and we all enjoyed the fantastic heated pool. The setting is spectacular amongst the vineyard covered hills, and we ate all of our meals outdoors. It was an easy drive to the coast, where we found beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Lina was wonderfully helpful, and let us check in early and out late, which was great for the babies’ nap schedules. The rooms also have blackout shutters, which helped them adjust to the time change. She provided cribs and high chairs for them. We were also really happy that the pool area is fenced and gated, which made it easier for parents to relax during meals on the patio! Finally for the adults, the showers are amazing. Great pressure and really hot water. I’d recommend Lina and Villa Altus to anyone. It really was perfect.

My family had a fantastic few days at Lino’s. The apartment is very well laid out, roomy and comfortable. All of the bedrooms have magnificent sunset views of the ocean with comfortable linens. The kitchen as well laid out, and included everything we needed. The pool table was a hit when we weren’t out and about. Lino himself was a wonderful host, very attentive and always available. He made dinner reservations for us at one of his favorite local restaurants, and arranged for the chef to meet with us ready with a pitcher of Sangria. Excellent property and fantastic host. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Ericeira.

The Alfama is a historic district that is something everyone should experience; it is lively and boisterous as well as peaceful and quiet, depending on the time of day. The apartment is incredibly gorgeous and clean. We felt welcome and well taken care of. The neighborhood is exceptional.I would love to go back there sometime.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Lisbon. It’s located in a quiet, pleasant residential area with easy access to nearby metro stops. The apartment itself was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our three-day stay. The Wi-Fi worked well, and with the air conditioning running, the space was peaceful and quiet. The small kitchen was perfect for preparing light meals, and our host, Rodrigo, was exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would gladly recommend this apartment and would not hesitate to book again!

This was a very nice unit in an excellent location. It was easy to walk to most areas we wanted to go to and the metro was also just outside the door. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved this air bnb. Ericeira is a beautiful / friendly place . Excellent food at the bar on the door step. Carlos is a great host , excellent communication. Cannot recommend enough !

L’appartamento è ubicato in una posizione molto tranquilla di Sintra ed è equipaggiato di tutto ciò che occorre per il soggiorno degli ospiti. Molto comodo il parcheggio privato proprio di fronte all’ingresso. Patricia è una persona davvero socievole e disponibile e ci accolto con molto calore. Davvero una bella esperienza ☺️

Once again our two families had a wonderful week at Quinta das Flores! The beauty and privacy, swimming pool, football field and barbecue area were enjoyed by both the kids and adults. Thank you Marco and Antonio!

This was our second visit and Alice was as friendly, welcoming and hospitable as ever. The house is spotless, well equipped and comfortable with superb facilities across the site. The pool was fantastic, the locality quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be returning again.

Obsessed with the serenity of my stay at the cottage. Zero issues: host so responsive to my questions. Walking to the beach was such a fun adventure! I much preferred it to driving! I felt safe and location was easy to find with coordinates!

Wir waren alle sehr grosse Fans von der Unterkunft, gut gelegen um nach Ribeira surfen zu gehen und ideal für grössere Gruppen!

Although we have previously visited Portugal , this was our first time in Cascais. Teresa & Pedro made our decision easy to chose their homely apartment. Their communication were fast, friendly and extremely informative. The apartment is bright and airy with the bonus of a swimming pool. It was never busy and a great spot to chill out and relax on very hot days. The neighborhood is quiet for a good nights sleep after a busy sightseeing day. The supermarket Pingo Doce is roughly a 10 minute walk. There is also a small local shopping mall less than a 10 minute walk away. You can walk into Cascais centre in around 20 minutes. Cascais has a lot to offer. It has museums, lovely beaches, great restaurants and lovely parks. The marina area is also well worth a visit. We visited Lisbon on public transport which is fairly straightforward. We also visited Sintra which is a must but even in early June extremely busy. Thank you Teresa & Pedro for sharing your wonderful apartment.

Prime location, close to the city center and surf spots. Super cozy and nice place. Communication was great! Super friendly and responsive. Shower is amazing, with pressure and good volume of water. Will come back and recommend y’all!

A wonderful place. A peaceful setting, ideally located for restaurants, supermarket and beach. The pool is bigger then it looks on pictures. our children enjoyed the Airbnb. lots of space, secure grounds and a trampoline to keep them entertained. We enjoyed BBQs on the patio. The villa is cleverly designed so that nobody feels on top of each other. would definitely revisit

Filipa's Alfama Airbnb was truly impeccable. We all agreed that this Airbnb made our vacation. This was our first time in Portugal, and we would come back just for this Airbnb. It was clean, picturesque, centrally located, and made for a relaxing vacation. Our favorite aspects were the location, natural light, and swimming pool. Filipa was responsive, helpful, and kind. I recommend staying here to anyone. We loved staying in the heart of Alfama – the neighborhood was walkable and full of restaurants and sightseeing. Our only feedback was that it was a little difficult to locate on Google Maps upon arrival, but once we remembered the location, it was easier. So absolutely worth it.
