Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Étang de Lacanau

The space was perfect! We were very well received by our hosts, and the accommodation has an ideal location between lake and ocean in the middle of the forest! The place is peaceful and of good quality, everything was true to the description. We will certainly return to this accommodation, and I recommend it to all travelers visiting the area. We felt at home with the family from the first moment. Everything is very lovingly decorated and clean. The location directly on the dune and beach is ideal for water sports. The place and everything is within walking distance. We had a great time staying with Caroline & Emmanuel.

This is probably the most beautiful accommodation in Lacanau! We are still quite enchanted by the stay with Sandra and Patrick. The apartment is clean, stylish and beautifully located - just sitting on the terrace gives you a holiday feeling. We felt very comfortable, especially because Sandra and Patrick were very appreciative and benevolent in communication and contact. We will be happy to come back :)

Very nice accommodation with all the necessary equipment. We just missed the good weather but otherwise the welcome and communication with the hosts was impeccable.

Our stay at Thierry's was perfect. House very easy to access and well designed. The kitchen and bathroom are in their original state but are very practical so perfect for us. Thierry is very friendly and responds very quickly. Bedding is good. There is an excellent balance bike that my 4-year-old daughter really enjoyed. Thanks again for our stay.

Thoughtful hosts and welcome gifts very appreciated by the usefulness ( milk and fruit juice) but especially for the pleasure ( cookies and chocolates) Another big thank you! Very clean house and beds made. Peace and relaxing. Free bikes available much appreciated too. Very pleasant environment with Lacanau and its lake but also that of Hourtin and the ocean nearby. But already the residence offers many advantages in situ with the beaches of the lake, walks in the forest or towards the port of La Marina, the possibilities of sports with tennis and especially a reception center with restaurant and the possibility of taking away ( pizzas) very convenient. Our stay too short for 4 nights, did not allow us to make the most of it but makes us want to come back.

There were four of us and we had a wonderful stay in Marie-Sarah & Josselin's beautiful house by the sea. The house is very cozy and well laid out. We lacked nothing and were overwhelmed every time we looked out the windows or the porch door. The view of the sea will accompany us for a long time to come. Marie-Sarah & Josselin were very good hosts. Requested insider tips for the area came as a highly professional and beautifully designed PDF. We can only highly recommend the house, the area and the hosts ❤️

Xavier greeted us when we arrived to the apartment and welcomed us to Bordeaux. Xavier gave us suggestions of where to eat and what to do in the city. The apartment is cozy, clean and great location. You will feel submerged into the culture of Bordeaux. Lastly, Xavier is amazing. He loves being a host and will do everything to make sure you are satisfied. You will not be disappointed.

A genuine town centre apartment that is finished & furnished as a real home from home - it is like taking over someone's personal flat and it is lovely. Highly recommended for what it is and where it is - just above a wonderful pastry & coffee shop - what more could one ask for?

apparently very well located and close to everything, private parking space really great for being quiet. bakery, restaurant, beach, everything is within 5 min walk, really great. Lucie is very responsive and reachable. we had a great long weekend, perfect for relaxing from big cities. Do it again without hesitation.

La Monnoye was amazing… the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in - exactly as described. Nathaniel met us on arrival, gave us an orientation to the apartment and the neighborhood/city. The apartment was so lovely. Decorated to perfection, yet not stuffy. It was very comfortable. The bed was good. The in-unit washer and dryer was awesome perk. They left ample supplies, coffee and everything we needed. The neighborhood felt safe, but is outside the most touristy areas of town. One evening there was a good bit of noise from outside, but it was not audible in the bedroom. It was an easy walk to everything we wanted to access. The tram is very close, although we never used it. Uber was able to access the apartment. Highly recommend Nathaniel and Patrice’s apartment.

Very well located apartment (on the beach and close to the city center by bike), well arranged and well equipped. We were able to enjoy the balcony which is nice (and perfectly oriented to enjoy the sunset). The parking space and bicycles are very nice. Our host was very responsive and we were greeted by his parents who were charming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

juliens place was perfect for myself and jenny. ideal for couples. great views of the sea. it was "home from home" for us. arcachon is a great place for a relaxing holiday. it has everything and juliens place compliments the place. definitely going back.

The place is great. The bed was comfortable and the surroundings very quiet. We were in the accommodation out of season and had virtually no neighbors! Gaëlle is a great host who takes care of all occasions directly and always responds quickly. The sea is within a few minutes' drive. The lake (Plage du Moutchic) is also just a few minutes away by car. The apartment has everything you need and is great for a longer stay. If you want to go to Bordeaux for a day, you can easily walk to the Marie Curie stop. The complex where the apartment is located is well maintained and even has a pool. Parking is available right outside the door. We had a very nice stay and highly recommend the apartment.
