Nearest cottage area is Gamlestølen with alpine slope, cross country ski trails and restaurant. Very nice walk area both around cabin and in Etnedal itself, Valdres. Here you can walk both long and short walks, bike. In winter it is possible to go cross country skiing. There is a lot of blueberries right by the cabin. The cabin itself is very well equipped, has most of what you need for everyday life.

The cabin has top standard with running water and electricity. Two bathrooms with toilet and shower. 2 living rooms with lots of games. Large terrace with possibility to follow the sun through the day. 7 minutes walk to lake. Great hiking terrain and miles of cross-country trails just outside the door. 4 bedrooms with double bed plus sofa bed in the loft.

The cabin is nicely located at about 985 meters above sea level on Aurdalsåsen in beautiful Valdres. In summer, there are many nice day trips on trails, bathing water, fishing opportunities and hiking orientation (maps purchased at Danebu) In the winter, the ski slope goes right outside so here you can easily get out into the large network of trails. With few rod ceilings, you are also inside the alpine slope. Ski in/out. About 10 minutes drive to Aurdal where there is a grocery store, gas station and restaurant.

Fjellsetra/Synnfjell /Valdres Cabin with jacuzzi

Fjellsetra is the nearest neighbor to the snaff mountain (located at 940 mt.alt.)and is not located in a cabin area. The place is for us a place we are traveling to find peace and quiet and get out on a trip in amazing nature. The area during summer has a lot of marked trails, the most famous is the trip up to Spåtind, 1414 mt.alt. In winter there are many great cross-country ski slopes (about 300 km of continuous slopes). Tours (both winter and summer) start at the cabin.
