Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

Recharge your batteries with luxury at this unique and quiet accommodation. Beautiful romantic little cottage with views that give peace of mind. Large terrace/jetty with outdoor furniture, gas grill and wood-fired hot tub! (IMPORTANT! The hot tub does NOT have bubbles or massage, just lovely hot water). Inside there is a bedroom with a double bed, bathroom with toilet and shower, well-equipped kitchen and living room with TV. Attic/mezzanine with 2 single beds, 1.80 ceiling height. Free rental of paddleboard and small kayak.

The cabin is modern with high quality in all materials, and design furniture. The cabin is built for family use, but is rented out in anticipation of our children using it. The cabin is located in a cultural-historical area from the sailing ship and privateer era. There are good hiking opportunities nearby, proximity to amazing sandy beaches.

Welcome to Fossjordet in Farsund! In our cozy annex you live both centrally and quietly. The beaches are just a 5-minute drive away, and the city center, bus station and nice hiking areas are easily reached on foot. The annex has a separate entrance, patio with fjord views, free parking and possibility for electric car charging. The area is quiet and safe, and suitable for both couples and families. Welcome to a comfortable and peaceful place to stay while enjoying the southern idyll.

Enjoy a relaxing holiday with the whole family in our modern, high-standard cabin! This is our family cabin, which we use as often as we can, but we’re happy to share it when we’re not there. The cabin is spacious at 150 m², with four bedrooms and sleeping space for up to 11 guests—perfect for two families traveling together. In addition, take a step back and relax in our luxurious sauna with panoramic fjord and mountain views. We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do!

Velkommen til vår sjarmerende og hyggelige sjøhytte – perfekt for ferie med familie eller venner! Hytta ligger direkte ved sjøen og har flott utsikt og nærhet til naturen. Den har 2 små soverom og stor hems med lav takhøyde. Totalt er det 8 sengeplasser. Hytta har fullt utstyrt kjøkken, bad med dusj, koselig stue og solrike uteplasser med griller. Båtutleie i nærheten, kan fortøyes ved bryggen. Vi vurderer alle forespørsler manuelt – fortell gjerne litt om hvem dere er.

I 2. etasje er det stort kjøkken og stue med spiseplass og TV-område, samt hovedsoverom med dobbeltseng og stort bad. Stor terrasse med flere sittegrupper, jacuzzi, bålpanne og flott utsikt. Perfekt for familier eller venner som ønsker et komfortabelt opphold nær sjø og natur.

Feriehuset ligger på en høyde, ca 100 meter over havet . Ved sjøen kan en bade og fiske. Det er sol ved feriehuset fra tidlig morgen til sen kveld. Dette er stedet for minner som varer – enten du kommer med familie, venner eller bare vil ha en fredelig pause fra hverdagen. Parkering rett hytta.

Stay centrally in Farsund City. Husly is beautifully located 30 m from the lake. The house is from 1829, it was moved here from Spind in Farsund around 1870. The house has a lot of history and has been a retirement home, school, guesthouse and kindergarten.
