Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

Recharge your batteries with luxury at this unique and quiet accommodation. Beautiful romantic little cottage with views that give peace of mind. Large terrace/jetty with outdoor furniture, gas grill and wood-fired hot tub! (IMPORTANT! The hot tub does NOT have bubbles or massage, just lovely hot water). Inside there is a bedroom with a double bed, bathroom with toilet and shower, well-equipped kitchen and living room with TV. Attic/mezzanine with 2 single beds, 1.80 ceiling height. A good place to just relax completely and enjoy the view of the beautiful fjord. Large windows facing the view make the feeling of sitting outside when you enjoy a good cup of coffee in the good chair. A short walk (200m) down to the harbor with a private boat berth and its own boathouse for storing equipment and freezing fish.

Housing - Apartment in Sørlandet

Stay centrally in Farsund City. Husly is beautifully located 30 m from the lake. The house is from 1829, it was moved here from Spind in Farsund around 1870. The house has a lot of history and has been a retirement home, school, guesthouse and kindergarten.
