Wake up in the morning to watch deer while enjoying your coffee on the porch. Main St. Tannersville is only an 8 min walk; with its nice selection of restaurants & shops. Hunter Mountain & Kaaterskill Falls are within a 10 min drive . Woodstock, Saugertise, Windham, Catskill & Kingston are within a 35 min drive.

Welcome to our 1920's Craftsman Cottage, nestled in the friendly hamlet of Palenville. This fully furnished house is currently located close to the historic Kaaterskill Falls, Hunter Mtn skiing and hiking. The local swimming hole is within walking distance. Hop in your car for the short drive to Catskill, Hudson, Woodstock, or Saugerties. This area will keep you coming back time and time again. Located less than 2 hours from NYC and just 15 min Exit 20 of the NYS Thruway.

Cozy Treehouse in Catskill Mountains.

The treehouse resides on the locally famous Fernwood property. Our family ran a restaurant here since the 1970's. We no longer operate the restaurant, but the property is gorgeous. The treehouse is at the end of a road with a private swimming hole. Right out of the treehouse is the entrance to the famous long trail, plenty of hiking here. Also in town is the entrance to The Catskill Wild Forest. Hiking into Kaaterskill Falls is one of the main attractions here in town.

Space has everything you need for a retreat away from it all – a meditation nook for 2, yoga mats to use inside or out on the deck, hot tub to soak cares away and relax after a day out and about in the beautiful Catskill mountains. Hot tub is in 3-acre backyard with privacy enclosure, so bathing suits are optional (we provide bathrobes.)
