Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Fayette County

We spend a night at Eirik’s place while attending an event in the area. The house is very nice, well equipped and with comfortable beds. The view out of the main living space is peaceful. Host was responsive and accommodating. Would stay again .

We recently moved to La Grange and needed a place to stay for a few days until we could get into our new home that allowed our cat. Choices that fit all our needs were limited, and so we had planned to stay in a local hotel. The day we arrived, we found out the hotel we’d planned to stay at was booked and other the hotels in town were not “pet friendly”; so I did another Airbnb search and found Ashley’s place. It was perfect! Quiet, easy to get to and she responded quickly to any communication and our four-legged family member felt very comfortable. Moving is stressful and exhausting. Thank you so much for making this part of the move a breeze.

Great communication with the host. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially enjoyed the sweeping oak tree in the front yard and spending time outside on the patio. It was shady and breezy which made it comfortable even on a warm early summer day.

the house was sparkling clean, very comfortable beds, furniture allowed everyone to have a set. nice clean linens provided. would definitely stay here again.

This was the second time to stay there. We enjoy the house it is clean and decorated so cute. Rebecca is a great hostess and is very attentive and will respond to your messages quickly. We will continue to stay there in the future.

Gorgeous location & cabin! Loved all the cute personal touches and thoughtfulness that went into the cabin itself and the experience. Garrett was super welcoming and responsive. We will definitely be back!

This place was perfect for our four families to get together and barbecue, play games, swim in the pool, and relax together for a weekend. The cottages were very well kept and clean. It was also nice to have the extra pool bathroom and outdoor kitchen. You can tell the owners put a lot of care into their rental. They even had conveniences like toiletries, bathrobes, coozies, wine opener, etc. It was a nice added touch. Finally, check out was a breeze - they make it so easy and relaxing without chores for the guests to do before leaving. It was a great stay!

We stayed at the Ramona House for our son’s wedding and it was great! Plenty of room for everyone staying and the house has wonderful charm. Smithville is a precious town with good restaurants in walking distance of the house. Watch out for that Smithville volunteer fire department siren though! It will wake you up 😂. Brooke and Grayson were very responsive and accommodating.

“Our stay at Ruben Alaniz countryside gem was absolutely perfect! The house was spotless, cozy, and had a gorgeous private pool that we enjoyed daily. The barbecue pits were a highlight—grilling under the stars with views of the grazing deer and livestock was unforgettable. The peaceful rural setting felt like a true escape, and Ruben was a fantastic host, quick to respond and full of great local recommendations. Jeanne and Clyde were welcoming upon our arrival. They gave us the lay of the land and a quick informative run down on how everything worked. The Yurt was beautiful and the grounds were private and peaceful. We walked the nature trail on the property which had a beautiful overlook on Huckleberry Hill. We took in a local comedy show and explored the historic downtown. We drove the scenic route at Bastrop State Park it was serene and beautiful. Austin is about a 45 minute drive which was nice. The Reserve had a nice pavilion with games, a fire pit, outside accommodations like restrooms, overlook, hot tub, kitchen area, grills, etc. The entire property is very well thought out. We enjoyed our little getaway. Thank you guys! We would love to come back.

Our three families loved our weekend retreat here. The pool is absolutely beautiful with lots of seating options around it. We also enjoyed the huge garage/playroom area in the heat of the day to escape the sun. Plenty of sleeping options for our crew too. We had a couple of minor issues and the hosts responded quickly. Highly recommended for a nice countryside escape!

Great get away! Great to sit and relax. pool and sitting outside area was perfect. took my 82 yr old mother, we sat outside in the mornings to have coffee. Shopping in Gonzales in the morning. Then jumped in pool to relax a few. evening had a small fire going and relaxed more under the stars!

We had an amazing time at Wander Inn! The space was beautiful and very nice. 5 beds in total and lots of space for 5 people! The fresh biscuits every morning were incredible and the longhorns on site were so cool. About a mile into town so you’ll need a car but an easy 2 minute drive!

Very comfortable place and tucked away with a few other cottages close by. You are definitely near a farm, which I liked, but the cow(s) were not heard inside. They had coffee but maybe some extras would be nice at least during the low season of Roundtop. Love that there were no TVs to be found in the cottage and got great sleep!

I’ve been to Round Top 3 times and this is my favorite airbnb rental so far. Will definitely book again.

I would stay there again, comfortable and Jenna let us know about bad weather coming. We were there to be with family after going through some rough stuff. I would recommend it to other family.

Absolutely wonderful. Olga’s home was spotless and well organized when we arrived. It was very accommodating with everything we needed for our stay. We had a fantastic time in Bastrop and being able to come back to such a beautiful home at the end of the day was just perfect. Thank you Olga!

Great place to for work or just visiting the town

Our family was able to stay together at this country retreat before one of our son’s wedding that was happening nearby. It was a great location for the venue and allowed us extra time together plus the bonus of being a beautiful place. Our nearest hotel options would have been a very different experience. The beds were comfy and the weather was perfect to spend time outside and enjoy the front porch and surroundings.

Mike and Maxine are absolutely incredible hosts! My love and I just needed a w ekend away from it all. Mike met me when I arrived went over everything with me and provided me resources for the weekend. I cannot say enough great things from our weekend. Watching the deer while drinking coffee on the porch is a memory I will always cherrish!

Loved Chelsea’s place! Perfect distance from Round Top and Oak Bend Polo Club. The bed in the loft was quoted comfy and doesn’t get hot, as the air con unit works great and there are fans. Pups really enjoyed the space as well! We will be back!

What a fabulous place! Ten acres of beauty featuring birds, trees, goats, chickens, dragonflies, a pond, fire pit, flowers, relaxing porches, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, beautiful decor, spotless rooms, s’more fixings and everything needed for a wonderful stay. We were 5 women looking for relaxation and farm experience and we could not have been more pleased. The hosts made everything easy and thought of the smallest details to make the visit perfect. Delightful people. We got to gather eggs and then have them for a meal. We played with goats, fed the fish, took a hay ride to see the cows and the property. We made s’mores on the fire pit and looked at the stars. Also went to nearby towns to see some of the painted churches that were stunning. Cooked most of our meals in the very well equipped kitchen. Grocery stores just a few miles away. And there were no mosquitos. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!
