Perfect place to stay for a local event over two days. The flat was clean, tidy and comfortable and in an interesting area.

Our second stay in this beautiful apartment. We will most certainly be back again, which really says it all! The location is superb and the apartment is gorgeous, comfortable and really homely. We love it! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Anna’s was such a wonderful place to stay for a few days. Very private and quiet, but close to so many attractions if one decided to be adventurous. The space was clean, warm and welcoming. And the hot tub was just the icing on the cake after a long day exploring. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend to friends and family.

Lovely central position. On the high street and a minute away from the beach. Parking ok but needs thinking about. Lots of shops restaurants on the door step. Very enjoyable stay.

Really responsive host. Friendly and reassured on hand if there should be any problems.

A brilliant location, near the perfect sandy beach and all local amenities in this wonderful "old world" resort. Restaurants and pubs (and a brewery) only a few minutes walk away. The access might be difficult for anyone with mobility problems - it's up two flights of steep steps, the first of which is like a fire escape. We had a brilliant time and hope to return sometime! Great flat. (Worth the climb!) Spotlessly clean. Very quiet. Close to shops, cafes and beach but very quiet nonetheless.

First time visiting Colchester and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Home from home and the location was absolutely perfect, literally right next to the castle park and less than a 5 minute walk to the castle and high street. Peaceful and super clean. Reilly was the perfect host. Friendly, responsive and helpful. Kitchen had everything we needed to dine in. Bed was comfy and linen was clean. The bathroom was also spotless! Thank you for having us and we will definitely be returning. 5 star 🌟 stay x

The house was beautifully positioned/appointed with wonderful open plan living room and kitchen. bathrooms were all spotless, modern and well presented. Light, airy house with wonderful views of the surrounding sea. A special find, allowing good friends to enjoy some precious days walking and cycling in the glorious surrounding countryside. Host was very attentive and easy to contact - would highly recommend.

We had the most fabulous stay at the Crows Nest. We were a family of 10 visiting for our Dad's 90th birthday. Amanda really has thought of everything. We have never stayed anywhere that is so well equipped. The entire property was clean and beautifully decorated. The sea just a short walk away. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

We were delighted with the property. Beds extremely comfortable and linen, bathrooms, facilities very impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful place, excellent facilities and clean. Antonina was brilliant, responsive and a lovely host. Would definitely recommend. It was perfect for our big family gathering and plenty for the kids to play with in the kids room! All in all, wonderful trip! Thank you so much for having us!

Jacqui was very responsive from the outset, even before we actually booked. The old stables was a nice place to stay and everything was very dog friendly. Very relaxing place and everyone who we met were really nice, including the dogs. Lovely place to stay if you want to chill and alow your dog to have a bit of freedom. We were lucky we had nice weather too. Jacqui also left a few treats for us and our dog, which was a nice touch too. Thank you Jacqui!

What a wonderful place for our family group of 9 to celebrate a birthday. The house was perfect. The kitchen is enormous and very well equipped. All the bedrooms are great and all ensuite. The house and layout is very spacious, so there is plenty of room to spread out. We loved the outdoor seating area, with such a beautiful view of the lake and beyond. To sit on the deck, first thing in the morning in the sun and listen to all the bird song was so lovely and peaceful. We had a visit each morning from two friendly goats. We loved them! I highly recommend this delightful property.

The condo is exactly like the photos, spotlessly clean and with gorgeous views of the beach. Centrally located just 5 minutes walk to the railway staying and several good restaurants within 3 minutes walk. Would happily recommend

properties are very nice split level property that reminds me of an old Edwardian type property. It’s been very nicely done out the hot tub is really good and just generally everything just worked. The location is really good and we’d love to come back.

Eine super ruhige Gegend direkt am Hafen. Wer Großstadttrubel braucht ist da verkehrt aber wer es ruhig braucht absolut perfekt:-) Es gab einen kleinen Laden in der Nähe ansonsten Lidl etc. ca. 3 km entfernt also sehr gut erreichbar

Micheal was really warm & welcoming host, with lots of humour & charm. He makes a mean cocktail in their cool little bar at the back of their lovely danish shop He gave us great recommendations for place to go and places to eat . The studio is above the shop and is very clean with everything you need , perfect for 2 people. When we return to Frinton we will definitely be trying to stay at the studio. Thank you’re hospitably

Fantastic location, great views of the sea and the pier ( as well as the rain clouds ) . Very comfortable and spacious flat that had everything we needed. There was flexible check in and check out offered which we appreciated and some nibbles left for our arrival .

Donna was so committed to our stay and communicative from the minute we booked. Great recommendations and suggestions for local things to do . The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated and the bed and furniture were so comfortable . Absolutely amazing location with great parking outside and the branch across the road,and yet once in.. you never heard a thing. Will certainly return. We felt so welcome. This apartment was clean and almost brand new . Nicely decorated . Two good size bedrooms , one en-suite . Suited us, perfectly , for a week visiting family . It’s in a great spot being directly across the road from the beach . Near leisure centre, pier and “Beach street” A little further to walk into town , but manageable for two sixty plus’ and two teenagers Would highly recommend
