House holiday rentals in Ferndown

We were looking for somewhere in the New Forest area to celebrate our wedding anniversary with family. This house was perfect for us all, 8 adults and 5 grandchildren. The house is in a beautiful, quiet location which is exactly what we wanted. The house has everything you need and more, fully fitted kitchen with massive island and dinning table. All rooms were spotless as well as the many toilets and bathrooms. We stayed in the master bedroom which is very tastefully decorated. The swimming pool was a big bonus, perfect size and depth for our Grandchildren and very warm. It also had a padlocked gate to keep the little ones out when playing in the garden. Our host Katie was brilliant from start to finish keeping us updated on the stay and very responsive to messages. She provided a welcome food pack of sausages, bacon, bread and essentials which was really appreciated. Katie even took the time to let our grandchildren help her feed her horses. Can’t wait to return!

We stayed at Sam’s place to celebrate my husbands birthday. From the start Sam was responsive, friendly, answered questions and gave some fab advice. When I made a request she did everything she could to make it happen. The caravan itself is in a lovely peaceful part of the park with easy walking distance to the woods for the dog to have a run and also to the beach where we wandered to the pub and then back for an ice cream. Sam clearly explained how everything worked, where everything was & what she was doing to make things perfect for her guests. Her guide for things to do was really helpful so our days were filled and never dull. I would call this caravan a proper family home, it does everything it’s suppose to so you can just relax and enjoy your holiday. When I had some sad family news, Sam went out of her way to make sure we were ok and that we didn’t need to rush out the caravan on check out, so if you want a proper family home from home that does what it says - visit here! 🩷

We hired this for a few days with family to celebrate my nans 70th birthday. Absolutely beautiful house and gardens and the facilities are amazing. We live locally so knew about the area but loved having a swimming pool, tennis courts and snooker table for all of us to enjoy. The lounge was bigger than we thought and comfortably sat all of us. We also received a helpful guide a few days before our stay which gave us all the information we needed. Overall a really lovely stay, thank you!

location was absolutely perfect for a relax and a decent walk everyday, we paddle boarded up the coast both ways and the scenery was stunning and finished most days with a swim in the pool. if you're after a close too everything place too stay this isn't the place for you but if you're looking for a break away from the world then this will tick all your boxes 🤗

We had a blissful few days at Flint cottage. Wonderful kitchen to cook in, and multiple fabulous farm shops nearby. We ordered a heat and eat pie and a DIY breakfast pack for our first night, which made the start of the holiday so much more chilled out. The outdoor bath was also really special. We were so comfortable throughout we just relaxed completely. Can’t wait to come back!

The Beach House in Southbourne provided us with everything that we needed for a perfect family holiday. The house has a spectacular view of the sea, with SOBO Beach access only metres away. The houses itself provides all of the amenities any family could want to have an enjoyable stay. Bathroom to bedroom ratio, safe suitable parking, a swimming pool,a hot tub with sea views, mini golf, a games room and chill out zone, and much more. The property is ideally situated near local shops,cafes pubs and restaurants. The Beach House is perfectly located for day trips to Swanage, Corfe Castle,Sandbanks,Bournemouth, Poole and the surrounding area. The hosts were very helpful and responsive to all of our enquiries. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

We had such a wonderful stay. The lodge was pristine and in such a lovely area. We hope to come and stay again in the future. The lodge was spacious, had really helpful instructions and contained everything you could possibly need. The local area is beautiful. We had such a fantastic time, the local pubs and restaurants served delicious food, we can’t wait to return. Huge thank you for being so responsive, checking in on us and for sharing the Owls Nest with us.

We had such a wonderful time! The house was perfect for our stay, really spacious, comfortable and clean. The hot tub was great and the house was so close to the beach (less than 5 min walk). Aimee and Paul were really helpful and responsive when we had questions. I would highly recommend booking a stay here!

A truly special place. The pictures actually don’t do justice to how spacious it is, and how immaculate and well thought out it is, and the Wind in the Willows theme works perfectly in the peaceful surroundings of the riverbank. It’s a really calming and cosy place, and sitting eating breakfast by the riverbank was a joy. The spa bathroom is an extra treat on top. Chris and Judy were extremely proactive and we arrived fully informed with local recommendations and everything was easy to check in and out. We met Judy on the second day who very kindly greeted us and gave us more tips on things to do nearby. We hope one day to return!

My wife and I had a lovely week staying at the Lodge with our two infants. Second time on the resort but first time in Daisy Retreat. The property had everything you need for self-catering and more and was a comfy living space, clean and tidy and obviously well looked after. Communication before our stay was easy and when we had a small issue during our stay (due to the hot weather not the property) Angela was very responsive and helpful. Great holiday and would definitely book again if staying in the area.

Just back from a wonderful 4 nights with my daughters and grandchildren. On 3 levels so plenty of room for everyone. Great location and lots to see and do. Great that the lovely clean beach is just across the road. Lots of fun memories made. Elaine is a lovely, communicative host. Thankyou Elaine from us all.

A truly wonderful property. It is a beautiful and quiet oasis right in the centre of Wimborne. The inside is so stylish, comfortable and immaculate. The garden is well tended and we enjoyed the sunny seating areas. With the bonus of the river just over the back gate and a path running alongside, we found it to exceed all our expectations. The atmosphere in Wimborne never disappoints us. Apart from the town's beauty, the people are so very friendly and has so many good places to eat and drink. We shall be returning and would be delighted to stay in Georgina's River Cottage again.

My wife and I stayed at Sharon's place in Poole which was the perfect location for us to visit our favourite places in Dorset. We found the property very clean and well equipped, it had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The enclosed garden was ideal for our 2 small dogs and the dedicated parking space was a bonus. Sharon was an excellent hose with regular communication and provided all the information we required. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a really lovely stay here. The place was spotless and was even nicer than the photos. Great place to stay if you’re planning a trip to Peppa Pig World. There’s a Waitrose just a few minutes drive away which is super handy. Would highly recommend!

I spent a weekend at Gill's beautiful home with my husband and 6 of our friends to celebrate a 40th birthday. The whole experience was up there with the best I have come across with Air bnb, Firstly, Gill's communication from the off was brilliant. She was always helpful, friendly and responded promptly. Turning up was a 'Wow' moment. Their house is truly stunning. Easy to access with Gill's instructions. Inside was incredibly spacious, yet still felt homely. Interior was modern yet cosy. The high ceilings and beams was just beautiful. The house had everything we needed and after a rather huge food shop, had so much space for everything including a large fridge, full sized freezer and wine fridge. Then you have the outside.... honestly breath-taking. The dogs were in their element! (also would be incredible for children with a whole play areas at the bottom of the garden!). I am already looking forward to returning hopefully in the not too distant future with my niece and nephew.

I really enjoyed my stay, the property was very cosy and everything was immaculately clean. The bathroom and kitchen looked brand new and the garden area is lovely. The location is quiet and peaceful, a short drive away from the main areas of Bournemouth. I would be very happy to stay again.

Debbie, is a wonderful host checking to make sure we had everything we needed and more with a lovely welcome parcel of goodies. No. 48 is really comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed and would most certainly return. I recommend that if you’re looking for a property so close to Bournemouth this is the one !!

We had a wonderful weekend with family celebrating a 70th birthday. The spa pool and climbing frame were great for the children and the proximity to the beach is great. The house is a wonderful space for a family gathering in a lovely area where you don’t really need to drive as there is everything you need within walking distance.

This place was absolutely perfect for us. The grounds are huge and full of wildflowers, and with the children’s play area it kept everyone happy for a whole day. And the playroom and toys were much enjoyed. The main bedroom has a very comfortable bed, which was appreciated. The kitchen area is clean and compact, with enough equipment for our needs. Overall an excellent choice.

Cracking location just a 5 minute walk from the beach. Well equipped and nicely laid-out cottage provided a very cosy retreat from some miserable February weather. Gorgeous walks and welcoming pubs in all directions. Thanks for a great weekend!

An absolutely beautiful home with outstanding facilities - our stay was perfect from start to finish. Gemma was incredibly helpful and attentive in the lead up. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We had a great stay at Treetops and thoroughly enjoyed the house and garden. It is a lovely space for getting together with friends and family. Allan and Jo were great hosts.

The Air BnB of Gwyneth is a wonderful place. It‘s a really cozy little cottage with everything you need. We really liked all the lovely details in the beautiful appartment and we also fell in love with the beautiful flower garden and the landscape around us. Gwyneth was a really nice host. She gave us so many tipps for places to shop, eat and things to do around the Air BnB. We would come back anytime.
