Incredible views around Elie, the coast and golf course. The property is highly specced and we could not be happier with our visit. Fiona provides clear instructions on how to access the property. Will definitely be back!!

Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. She was warm and welcoming, and we felt completely relaxed. So grateful for such a lovely stay in a beautiful area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ainslie 🥰🤩🥳

We had a great stay in this beautiful house. Super easy to find an ideal location for peaceful weekend and only short drive to local attractions. Great safe enclosed garden for the dogs and lovely walks from the front door. Hot tub and sauna were a fantastic addition, loved the Aga too.

We loved our stay! The views were wonderful. The host and surrounding people are so welcoming. 10/10. The brownies and champagne are truly an adorable touch.

Dina was great. She was away while we visited but was still helpful and responsive from Australia. Beautiful peaceful little home with views of the pasture, cows, and rabbits from the hot tub area.

Such a beautiful little get away with so many little hidden gems nearby! Was quiet 24/7 and we loved the peace and the amount of sun the garden and hot tub got. Such a cosy cottage and made us feel at home straight away, worth the drive! Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

Truly “off grid” in the literal sense! It runs on batteries and a generator!! Despite it not having wifi we all had great 4G so never felt truly disconnected thankfully. It’s such a private place with literally nobody for a square mile or more probably. I would say in the winter you will need a 4x4 to access as it’s a mile down a dirt track! Amazing place and can’t wait to revisit :)

Hi Anna , we have had a great time at your hide away cosy cottage whilst also going out and exploring what the area near and afar has to offer. We travelled from near Oban for our first week when we went to the Isle of Mull and then this week we did make time to visit the Isle of Skye which was spectacular. We live in mid Wales so use to the unpredictable weather but on the whole it’s been good to us . Great place to base ourselves from . The wildlife in the garden have been great to see as well and the dogs have loved it . Thank you .

Çalums place was neatly tucked away in the Cairngorms what a beautiful place cute and quaint and such a lovely gesture to leave special coffee pods condiments local Scottish chocolates and wine such a lovely little place with room to rest recover from climbing hiking running loved discovering Nethy cafe nearby with friendly staff and angie the owner so lovely thanks Calum your place was wonderful

Fiona next door is a gifted photographer with an eye for the aurora. Shona at Coastal Cuppie is a sorceress in the kitchen—her scones are unforgettable. And Gayle, the owner, was wonderful—kind, responsive, and ensured we settled in without a hitch. If you’re lucky enough to stay here, you’ll fall in love with the sound of waves, the charm of the village, and the peaceful magic of Pennan. We can’t wait to return.

First of all can I just say what a beautiful cottage this is, you certainly will not be disappointed. We had a fantastic week here beginning with the lovely welcome gifts left by Kate. We made full use of the opportunity to walk our dog across the farm and the surrounding area, he loved it. Far enough away for a complete relaxing get away, but close enough to all the attractions of central Scotland to fill your days. We fully intend to return next year. Thank you

Fab little cottage, exceeded my expectations. Only stayed 2 nights whilst travelling to support my Hubby whilst cycling LEJOG. Briony was very welcoming to myself and our two Labs who loved the secure garden and watching the cattle wander past the hedge!

Very beautiful place to stay! The kitchen gave us inspiration for our own home and the bathroom was lovely. All around a very pretty home. Annie was very responsive and gave us some helpful suggestions on what to do during our stay. Also, if you like cows you may get to see a large herd of them right behind the rental! There’s a large sloped field that rises up behind the house and we enjoyed watching the cows come and go during our stay.

Beautiful little cottage has everything you need to feel right at home. It has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living area. The bedroom is relaxing and bed is very comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful. Chris and janet have put lots of local information in the cottage to help make the most of your stay. Only draw back is there is no shop in fortingall, so your nearest shop is in Aberfeldy 7miles away ( not a big deal for us as we were out most of the day). We would highly recommend a visit to the owl house. Many thanks for hosting us. We might see you again when we come back to climb meall nan tarmachan at some point x

We had a terrific evening at the gatehouse. There were 3 adults in our group and the property was perfect. Having a washer/dryer was fabulous. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook dinner. This property is very clean and comfortable. We loved the castle grounds, it really is a beautiful spot. Thank you for a great stay.

Beautiful little house in a peacefully place. With sheep and cows around the place, it’s a very calm and resting place. I clearly recommend this wonderful house.

What a wonderful place! The apartment is incredibly modern but cozy, well insulated and has the most amazing views. We'd come visit again in a heartbeat!

We had a very lovely week - the perfect holiday, relaxing, but lots to see and do. The cottage worked very well for the three of us.

Great place to stay, just off the high street, but very peaceful & has parking. Italian Coffee shop min or two walk away, coop, art gallery & museum, & great low level walks in the Anagach Woods close by. Place very clean & perfect base to explore on foot or in the car.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Ballater. The scenery is breathtaking – nestled in the Cairngorms, with rolling hills, rivers, and peaceful walks right from the doorstep. The village itself is charming, with lovely cafés, friendly locals, and a strong sense of history. Our accommodation was spotless, cozy, and perfectly situated for exploring Royal Deeside. Waking up to such beautiful surroundings each day was a dream. We would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!
