We had a great experience at this Airbnb. The host was great. He was proactive in communicating and helpful when we had questions. The bathroom was very clean and the linens and towels smelled clean and fresh. The location of this place was stellar if you want to hike, see waterfalls or the lighthouse. We enjoyed Tettegouche, Split Rock State Park, Goosebery, a hike to Cove Point and black beach. We also happened upon a great secluded beach at the base of the Beaver River right below the bridge. The downside of the location was the limited restaurants. We were there over a Sunday and Monday and a great number of restaurants were closed one or both of those days. It’s great that this Airbnb had a kitchen. We did use it for all our breakfasts and several lunches. Be aware that the kitchen is on a separate floor from the main living area, making it a bit inconvenient. Still, we were thankful it had everything we needed. We’d highly recommend this place for your North Shore visit.

The cabin was beautiful! It was private and we felt like we were removed from everything. We were able to relax and recharge. We were left great ideas for hiking, food, and sightseeing. We would love to book it again!

Had an absolutely fantastic time staying in Cynthia’s place. Smooth communications and checkin/out; rooms are very warm and cozy, amenities all work well, great location too. Will definitely rebook if returning in the future!

We stayed for 5 nights with two children. The loft was perfect for them to stretch out and offered a bit of independence and area to play. The house is stocked and well thought out and offers anything you might need or forgot to bring along. Make sure to gas up and grab your groceries before you arrive due to the remote location. We mainly stayed nearby enjoying the lake access, use of kayaks, and state park down the road. It was also a convenient spot to explore a little farther out - spent the day in Ely away from the cooler shore. If you're on the fence, go for it! Serenity Lodge offers all the creature comforts of home and more to make a memorable North Shore adventure.
