Initial impression: WOW. Luxury scandinavian lodge and massive (for a 2 bed) to boot. Huge amount of private space and the private facilities are what you hope for in a 5* luxury hotel. Lodge is a little dated with some weathering but that didn't detract from the absolute quality of the lodge. Holiday was absolute hit with us and our 6yr old daughter. Gave us the relaxation we needed and the space for the young one to run about to her hearts content. We all loved it immensely. Hope to return there again.

We had an amazing weekend here. Both Ian and Rose were very friendly and approachable. The place was immaculate and extremely quiet, Frank our puppy loved the paddock and the scent of rabbits. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful little cottage, looked just as photos. Everything spotlessly clean. All you could need was provided for (towels, kitchen utensils etc). Enclosed area both front and back of cottage. Washing line at the back too. Great communication from host too, quick and helpful responses. Had a little trouble finding it due to postcode covering a large area, but asked a friendly local who was very helpful and then found it no problem. Messaged host about local places to eat and was recommended the Cross Inn in Paxton (about 15-20 mins walk away) which was a great little place and a delicious dinner. A very peaceful location, surrounded by fields. Our little furry friend loved it too! Would absolutely stay here again 😀

Lovely bungalow and garden in a beautiful secluded location and nice views of farmland. So peaceful that a hare came to visit the garden a couple of times. Well equipped kitchen and good heating (early June is not always warm) and hot water. Our bed was very comfortable and so was the furniture in the lounge. Trish welcomed us when we arrived and showed us round the property. She gave us a very large welcome pack that provided for breakfast, lunch and snacks as well as the usual tea, coffee milk etc. and reduced the time we had to spend shopping. If we visit the area again we would like to stay there.
