We loved sitting on the screened porch morning and night. Very peaceful. Very comfortable for family. Good communication during stay. Heat and AC worked well. Very convenient location to Inverness. We arrived at night it was a little tricky to find but that's what made it so private. Maybe a blue reflector on the mailbox would help! Rowboat, kayacks, canoes, horseshoes, fishing gear, plenty of games for adults and children. A great time.

Great stay. The place was exactly as described. We spent most of our time in the outdoor space relaxing in the pool and letting the dogs romp in the nice, private fenced yard.

We had so much fun at The Roanoke Retreat! It was very quiet and peaceful. We had a blast cruising around on the golf cart. We were in town for a concert and The Villages was a great location for us!! The place was spotless and the kitchen had everything needed to cook a wicked meal!! We will be back!!

Patty was great! The house had everything you could need and more, everything in the kitchen was well labeled and the house was extremely large and functional. We were there for a funeral service, as it was not a vacation so our experience was a little bit more limited. Patty was wonderful and extremely helpful, pleasant and responsive to any questions/issues that we encountered.

A wonderful quiet place to stay! Exactly the perfect location for us, as we wanted to explore the many different springs near by. Gorgeous backyard, perfect for hanging out and having our dog run around. Definitely going to keep this on our list for the next time we are looking to stay in the area!

Booked the property for a mini vacation with family for my birthday weekend. We had the best time!! The house is beautiful and the views were spectacular. There were ample amenities provided to for a relaxing stay and the hosts, Alix and Summer, were both super nice and accommodating! 10/10 recommend this stay. Me and my family are definitely going to make this a regular booking!!

The home is beautiful and has everything you need. The pool is amazing. Check in and out was easy and Dena gave me great advice for where to play pickleball. The neighbors were super friendly too!

The real fun was hitting the trails—riding through the woods, exploring the open areas, and soaking in the adventure as a family. Whether you’re an ATV lover, dirt bike rider, or just looking to enjoy nature, this is the place to be. We left with muddy boots, full hearts, and memories to last a lifetime. Easy access to the River. Boat dock had plenty of room for my 26ft boat. Enjoyed having the pool and loved the layout of the house. This is a good home for a family or even if you have a few more guest with the split floor plan. The kitchen has plenty of counter space for everything,Enjoyed the stay. Thanks!

My friends and I just stayed for a lovely 3 day weekend. The facilities are so well stocked, it had everything we needed! The area is beautiful and peaceful. We also got to learn how to use the boat lift to get our boat out to the gulf, and the manual had everything we needed to know. My friends were also very impressed. Thank you so much! We are so happy we chose Dardens cabin as our spot to reset and relax. We work a lot and rarely get a chance to take time for ourselves and we were definitely due. My favorite part was being able to sit in the screened in patio, read a book and enjoy the beautiful nature outside while my boyfriend cooked on the grill. This place did exactly what we needed it to do and would definitely come back again.

Our 2nd one month stay at this lovely cottage. It's an excellent location on a channel to access Lake Henderson. Perfect for bass fishing. The home is clean and comfortable. It's spacious and was perfect for 2 couples. The kitchen is organized and well stocked . We enjoyed the patio, particularly the newly installed gazebo which provided shade during sunny days. The view from the patio is relaxing and perfect for sunrises. Home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It's an easy 3 mile ride down 44 sidewalk to get to the Withlachoochee Bike Trail. Spent many hours fishing. Every Monday we'd make the the 45 minute drive to the Webster Flea Market (excellent stop for produce) then stop for lunch at Big Bass Grill on Lake Panasoffkee. Easy drive to Winn Dixie. Would absoulutely stay again,

We enjoyed Kym's place. Conveniently located to Sawgrass. Enjoyed nightly live music. Enjoyed the front screened in porch in the evenings! Great host, would recommend to book Kym's place!

Beautiful home. Kimmie was quick to respond to any questions we had. Home is well stocked with kitchen and bathroom necessities. Check out was a breeze. Would absolutely stay here again.

While this place is attached to the main home, I had more privacy than I normally expect. Wonderful surroundings, very friendly family, and super convenient for the purpose of my visit. This cute place had more than I could have asked for, fully useable kitchen, good size fridge & freezer, and even a washer/dryer! You will hear the roosters and kids outside, but the noise is far from intrusive. All around a great little spot that I would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you Dana & Family!

Place was extremely clean Robert got back with a response within a few minutes I asked Robert about the area and he described it perfectly, just where I wanted to stay. Close to Brownwood, Deluna Pool and Edna's on the Green Also Close to rt.301 and 75. Robert is a 10 Star Superhost!!
