Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Florence County

Really awesome place. Private and cozy. Had really great communication with the owners. We had a small Thanksgiving celebration during our stay and everything was perfect. So I can definitely say that all the appliances work! Would recommend to anyone to stay here. Super clean. My French Bulldog stayed with us and the owners even included a doggie bed and a few toys. My dog gives this place 5 paws out of 5!

I was in Florence on a trip with family. I had my Australian shepherd with me. The living room with the giant couch was a perfect place to hang out and chat with cousins late into the night, which was way better than a hotel. I loved that Zay had a basket of toys for the dog. This was a thoughtful touch. I am also a lady runner, so I appreciated the safe neighborhood. I managed to put together a five mile jog by weaving through the sleepy streets one morning. There is a small pond near the house that has a trash can with bags for dog waste that was super convenient, too, as this was an easy walk with the dog. When one of my cousins somehow got lost getting to the place on the first day, Zay responded quickly by text with directions. While we mostly ate out, we had everything we needed in the clean kitchen. There was even some coffee, which was appreciated, though we made a morning Dunkin' Doughnuts run for more. (This was close as well!) Great booking for our purposes!

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this location in Florence. The place is very clean, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, and very easy to get into. The location was perfect for our needs, close to stores, food, and Francis Marion University. Wempy is a great host and very repsonsive. He answers mail within minutes and is always helpful. I would stay here again for sure. Thank you for a great stay!

Belinda was an amazing host! She responded quickly to any question or request that I had and even came to my aid when I locked the bottom lock and needed her assistance to come over and unlock to door since I locked myself out of the house 🤷🏽‍♀️Thank you so much!

Our June 11-16 stay at Jackie's home was absolutely beautiful for my family and I. We felt like we were home, the neighbors were very friendly and everything that was described about the property and in the pictures were spot on. My daughter and I especially LOVED the kitchen ❤️❤️❤️ although we brought our own cookware etc. it was so refreshing to see a home stocked with more items than just pots and dinnerware 😂 we are anticipating another trip and I would definitely book here again and recommend her home to anyone interested in visiting the beautiful city of Florence.

Let me start by saying once we walked into the house me & my family just smiled & was pleased with what we saw. This house was clean, comfy, spacious, peaceful & felt like home. we stayed for 6 days during Memorial weekend. I highly recommend staying @ there house you won't be disappointed. FYI I plan on booking this house every time I come to Lake City.

This small apartment was just perfect for our short stay in Florence. It was easy to find, and the instructions for how to get in were simple and clear. The AC worked well, which was very appreciated as there was a bit of a heat wave for most of our stay. And the in-freezer ice maker was a pleasant surprise! Ross was also fantastic at responding quickly when we had questions or needs. I would gladly stay here again. One fun surprise, though. If there's a good amount of rain in the forecast, don't park right outside the apartment, unless you enjoy really getting your feet wet! That was a fun challenge our last night there, as water in that part of the parking lot got to a couple of inches deep.

I initially chose this Airbnb because of its location (it was the closest I found to my clinical rotation in Darlington) and I am SO grateful I did because it was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had. Upon arriving, Bill & Wanda met me, gave me a tour of where I would be staying, and brought along some delicious muffins. They both are so friendly and warm, right away you feel like you've known them your whole life. The Airbnb itself is nothing short of perfect, Bill & Wanda really outdid themselves. The space they carefully curated met all my needs during my stay and they continually went out of their way to make me feel at home. I immediately felt comfortable and at ease, which is not usual for me when when staying in a new place. I also loved the neighborhood was serene, private, and safe. Bill and Wanda are just wonderful people and embody what Airbnb is all about. I recommend Eagle's Nest to EVERYONE traveling to the Darlington/Florence area. I will definitely be back!

What a treat to find Mustard Seed Lodging in Marion. We used the loft while visiting family at Thanksgiving. It provided the space we needed while spending most of our time in town with family. I will use it again!

Very well kept older home, lots of amenities inside. Thoughtful layout. Gina is proactive, friendly and very helpful. A blue collar neighborhood, felt safe there.

We had a wonderful time. Parking spots are marked clearly, and the directions for how to get in were easy to follow. Once inside the place was exactly as described. The beds were all comfortable, had plenty of space for our group of 3, and I will definitely stay here again if I make my way back to Florence. We ate at some of the recommended Restaurants. Town Hall was amazing (try the swordfish.) Thanks for Hosting Us!!!!

I cannot speak highly enough about Erika and her place at Hadleys Hideaway!!! She made sure to make us feel at home and was so wonderful in all of the little details! The home itself is BEYOND cute and thoughtfully decorated and taken care of, and the host being so incredible was the cherry on top! We will absolutely be coming back again!!

We loved our stay at Teddys! Everything was so clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when visiting family!! I couldn’t say anything that would need to change or be better. It was perfect!
