This place was so nice! It was in a great location, right on the beach, we were able to take the beach chairs and there were many nice food choices. Cute little beach town with easy bus access. Totally recommend and would love to stay here again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! It was walkable to the downtown area and harbour, but also quiet at night and not too busy. It was an easy ride from the airport and the location is also very close to the highway so it’s easy to head to the beach or other towns! Also good local bakeries and gyros in the area! :)

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is very well located and the view is magnificent. Dimitris is very kind and welcoming.

Everything was perfect. The location was quiet but still central. The apartment is as pictured and above all the communication and service were wonderful. You could always reach out to the hosts if anything was needed or questions arose. We were received personally and it was very warm and friendly. The apartment was very clean and was additionally cleaned during the stay. We felt very comfortable.

Great stay! Just be aware of the additional “climate tax” that is requested upon arrival. This wasn’t very clear before booking via Airbnb. But I did receive a notification afterwards. Nothing against the hotel though. Everything was great 😎

This place is IMMACULATE! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment is so lovely and the balcony view is stunning! We enjoy sitting in the evenings with a glass of wine and watching the sunset. The location is perfect, it’s 5 min walking distance from the Lion Fountain Square where they have the best bougatsa at Kirkor!!! There is a pay parking right across the street. We are definitely coming back! Hosts are amazing and responsive! We already miss Crete!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Miros! We came during the off-season so the area was pretty quiet and peaceful. The balcony at the front has a beautiful view. Miros was so friendly, helpful and an incredibly generous host. He communicated very proactively and was flexible with check in/out when our flights experienced changes. A big thank you to Giannis for hosting us, for his kindness and responsiveness. The listing was as described as well as the photos. The environment was very very quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The bedding is extremely comfortable. Everything was perfect, thank you again for everything. I recommend it 100% without so much as a second thought!

The place was conveniently located in walking distance from the port of entry for the ferries and about 5 to 10 minutes away from the airport. It was close to great restaurants and the waterfront and the main shopping areas are all within 5 to 10 minutes walk. It was easy for tours to pick us up 2 to 3 minutes walk from the place. Are a host or extremely helpful very responsive on all communications all through the process in the checkout. We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Crete.

Everything was perfect. Clean and fully equipped with everything you might need (respect for the toothbrush and the extra hand towels great attention to detail!). The only downside is that the listing mentions private parking, but in reality, you park on the street. Thankfully, there’s plenty of space, so it wasn’t a problem. The host seemed very professional, welcomed me with a snack in the fridge and a bag of small gifts and I appreciated that more than I can say! I totally recommend this place 100%, and I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Heraklion.

Beautiful apartment with a great location 2 minutes walk to the beach. When we arrived there was kindly some snacks and wine in the fridge and coffee for the morning. The apartment has everything you need to cook in the kitchen and the bed was very comfortable and clean. We loved the balcony with a beautiful veiw of the sea. Giannis was such a great host and was always available to answer any questions we had or give us reccomendations. Giannis and his family were SO kind and even gave us a home cooked meal on our last day. Everyone in the town was so friendly especially the man who sells the lounge chairs on the beach and the man who runs the mini market. Would definitely come back!!

The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The location is peaceful and just a short walk to the beach and local spots. We especially enjoyed the pool—clean, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. The host was welcoming and helpful throughout. Would happily return!

The apartment is cozy but was still big enough for the two of us =) Very nicely furnished and there was everything you could ever need. The location is perfect, lots of options for shopping or dining out. The pool is right next to the apartment. Absolute secret place. The beach is also only a 5-minute walk. Very nice quiet location, with a beautiful pebble beach right outside the door. On the beach, which is located in a bay, there is hardly any swell. I didn't go snorkeling myself, but I did observe some divers and snorkelers. Next time, I'd bring some equipment, too. :-) The apartment has everything you need and the kitchen is very well equipped. A clear recommendation for those who want to spend a quiet and relaxing time.

Our stay at Katerina’s place was nothing short of perfect! She is a great host, very kind and helpful, the place is stunning, with a beautiful view of the sea and walking distance to the beach. We felt right at home, the apartment was spotless and we immediately fell in love with her dog Marcos, so adorable! I would definitely come back asap. Thank you!

Chrysa is a very friendly and helpful host. She answered all our questions very fast. The apartment was very clean and just like in the pictures. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Very nice Villa and very friendly host. Her father is also living there and takes care of the garden. You can park there easily. The equipment and stuff that is available is as promised in the description. Location is actually not right next to the beach, but 10-15mins by foot, but by car it’s only 2mins. The beach there is amazing. The water is quite flat for a while, which is nice for playing in the water and probably for kids. Also the restaurants (especially Seven) there are really good and have a good price.

We loved the Balcony, whirlpool, air conditioners, shades, mosquito nets, shower and kitchen. The quality of this apartment is very high and it was surprisingly quiet! Close by are several nice restaurants. We definitely recommend and would come again 😊 Thank you!

The space was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. We especially loved the large deck—perfect for enjoying morning coffee or dining outdoors. The location is great, with a wonderful bakery and market just a short walk away. You’ll need a car to explore the town and surrounding area, but everything is within a short, easy drive. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, sharing great tips and insights about the area. They also took the time to share aspects of the local culture, which made our stay feel even more special. We were lucky to be in Rethymno over Easter—it was an unforgettable experience!

We are now back home and have had some time to reflect. From check-in to check-out, it was simply amazing. We felt right at home. Traditional food was regularly left at the door by the family. At the beginning, we were also surprised by this. We had a great rental car and drove around the area a bit. The place is perfect for that. Approximately 1 hour from Heraklion Airport and everything else is accessible. Would we book again and again.

The place was very nice and as described. Daniela was very warm and helpful. We only lacked a little more cooking equipment, as we occasionally wanted to cook and were then somewhat limited with a pan. Basically, we can highly recommend the apartment and will be happy to come back. Thank you very much.

We had a really nice stay at this accommodation! Very quiet, secluded location with a great private pool, large terrace and superbly equipped apartment. Dimitrios was always immediately available and gave us great tips for the area. The nearest town with a beach is within walking distance, and there are a supermarket and taverns there. We will be happy to come back! :)
