Family-friendly holiday rentals in Fontaine

Very pleasant stay at Fabien's. We had a family weekend (eight people) and the accommodation was perfectly suited, quite spacious and warm. We were able to go skiing in the Alpes d 'Huez, a resort very easily accessible from the accommodation (5min drive to take the gondola to Allemond, on the recommendation of Fabien). Great place, I would highly recommend!

A very nice stay in this really nice and perfectly equipped chalet. Everything necessary is available and always of quality and in excellent condition. The cottage is clean and well arranged (very convenient the corner to store all the ski equipment and take off your shoes without dirtying the house...), very nice the seating area separate from the TV area, neat decoration, sufficient storage...etc. It feels good from the moment you arrive. As in the photos and description. Gisèle's welcome remained warm despite the covid period, and she was always able to respond to our requests during the stay. The cottage although close to the road to the resort is very well soundproofed, we were quiet and in the middle of a magnificent landscape. The shuttle stop to the village or to the slopes is just next door, convenient because it is difficult to get there on foot: you can not have everything, the calm of a hamlet and the proximity of the village. (this said by car there is less than 10 minutes to access the shops and all the activities offered by Villard:) ) In short, a good place!

Very equipped and clean accommodation, super well decorated, it's good to stay there! Thoughtful host, and beautiful place. The shared hot tub is not a problem, and the cocktails are divine! Thanks again and see you soon.

Beautiful cottage, warm and cozy: we immediately felt at home. The cottage is very spacious, quiet, very well equipped and decorated. All the amenities are high-end: bedding, showers, kitchen... it is also very well placed for visiting the Vercors. We had a great time, a big thank you to Priscilla for the quality of this accommodation and its hospitality.

We had a lovely stay with my husband and two sons. The house and garden was beautiful and relaxing and we enjoyed sitting in the hot tub looking out at the mountains. Philippe met us at the house and showed us around, communication before arrival was perfect. It was located a little out of the way but we were aware of this beforehand and we had some nice days out. Would recommend.

A real favorite whether in terms of accommodation or hospitality . We had a great time (3 nights, 6 adults) at Blanche's place. The view from the accommodation is just breathtaking, the accommodation very cozy and very well-equipped, not to mention the kindness of our hosts. Numerous hikes nearby. Definitely the best AirBnB I've done so if you'd like to discover the area , don't hesitate, book with Blanche & Samuel! We'll be happy to go back

We spent a week with 6 including 2 small children in the house and on the property of Denis and it was fantastic. Grandiose view, many play options, plenty of space and in the most wonderful weather many walks and hikes - personally adapted recommendations from Denis included.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation met our expectations, and is located in a beautiful environment (several hikes start from there), it was perfect for a dog! Jean hosted us well, thank you! Accessible without a car.

A wonderful place to stay in the city centre of Grenoble, and a good value for the price. The place had great views through all the windows and rooftop balcony. Also a good kitchen and materials for cooking. The flat was large and very comfortable for 3 of us. Just be warned that there are a lot of stairs to climb, if this is something you may struggle with. We had a problem with the lock at self check-in, but Pierre was quick to communicate and fix the situation for us.

The cottage is comfortable and very well-equipped, located on the heights of the quiet village. Lise is responsive and accommodating. We had a great time, we recommend it.

Very practical studio, perfectly located and very well-equipped. A few meters from the bus stop, the excellent grocery store, the village restaurant and the library. Sleeps four (2 on the mezzanine bed, 2 on the sofa bed). We would be happy to come back!

We were 4 adults and 3 children at Amar and Hélène's place. The house is quiet, very nice and well equipped. There are plenty to do nearby. As a bonus, an attractive rate for a house of this size. It was a great stay for us!

Perfect apartment, very clean, well located and very well equipped. Jean-Pascal is very responsive. It was the 2nd time we booked one of these homes and always very good.

Charming little pool house, furnished with great attention to detail. Located on the edge of the village. Wonderfully quiet. Only the birds and the crickets. The pool was wonderful, even if it was still a little cool (26°). I was still in there almost every day. Beautiful surroundings, around the house and around the pool. Outside, a comfortable lounge and a grill. I really enjoyed it. I slept fabulously from the first day. But if you need 100% darkness, you should bring a sleep mask. Everything you need is available in the kitchen. Brand new pots and pans, good brand products. Hopefully, the guests will handle it sensibly... The bathroom is comfortable and more than enough towels are available. The washing machine was also used. Marielle is a warm hostess and an interesting person who takes care of her animals in a touching way. Keeps the pool and garden in top shape. I was very happy about occasional chats. Would have liked to have stayed longer. Those who appreciate simplicity will enjoy it!

Thank you to Alexandra for the quality of her welcome and her kindness. The cottage is spacious, very nicely decorated, and the ground floor and 1st floor are cool in summer, which we really enjoyed. The bedding is comfortable, and the accommodation is very well equipped. The pool is a real plus, all close to Lake Paladru (a little far to go on foot with children, but doable!). Note for parents of young children: the 2nd floor bedroom is not closed (no door, it is open to the stairs, with a safety barrier), and everything is very loud (old wooden parquet without insulation, which also makes the charm of the place) We'll be happy to go back!

We had a nice stay at the apartment. Everything is as described, functional and pleasant bedding. For the games room (ping pong) provide its own equipment. Close to the city center and shuttle nearby.

Emilie's chalet is really great! We had a great weekend in Chamrousse. The chalet is well located with easy access to the alpine ski resorts and also Nordic skiing. And also, it's really a plus to have a reserved parking space next to the cottage.

We had a pleasant stay in Lionel's accommodation. Lionel was very available throughout the stay. The house was clean and contains everything you need and even a little more especially for a family with a baby . The pool is a big plus during hot weather. It's just a little hard to park on the street which is two-way on a single lane and few spots available . We recommend this place to stay for family!

The accommodation is properly furnished and ideally located, at the bottom of the pistes. We arrive at the foot of the building on the skis. The entire ski area is easily accessible and there are slopes of all levels. More specifically, the ESF school for children is just behind the building. Great for our family.

The accommodation is very clean and very nice in a beautiful place. And Vincent is a great tip for hikes! We will come back and recommend it!

5-night stay at Sophie and Jean-Eric's. Very warmly welcomed by Jean-Eric. The house is very spacious and corresponds in every way to the description. Neighbors are present upstairs in the house, but it's not disturbing. The equipment is ultra complete. There's nothing missing. Even though it's in the city center, the neighborhood is very quiet. No noise at night. The motorcycle is parked in the courtyard, which is enclosed by a gate and shielded from view. The house is ideally located for excursions in the Vercors, the Chartreuse massif and that of the Oisans. Grenoble is indeed accessible on foot. It takes 30 minutes to get to the historic center. Auchan supermarket 5 minutes' drive away. We highly recommend Sophie's accommodation for a stay in Grenoble.
