Literally a couple steps away from your entryway is Sunrise Donut Cafe, featuring customized donuts and a full menu of excellent coffee items. Just steps off the deck, one can enjoy the grassy landscape leading to the lakeside fire-pit. Then continue out onto the end of the 140 foot top notch pier. The pier (seasonally of course) includes a bench on the end and stairs into the water so that you can take a refreshing swim on our sandy bottom shoreline.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Perfect place to relax after work. This is a guest small duplex house semi-attached to the main home. We are located near the Lowes Distribution Center, the Chicago-Rockford International Airport, about 20-minute drive to the Byron Plant, and about 6-to-8-minute drive to downtown Rockford, Discovery Center, Coronado Theatre, BMO Center, and about 12 minutes away from Swedish American Hospital.

Guest House

Take a step away from the everyday hustle and bustle and surround yourself with the sights, sounds, and smells of the country. Our guest house sits amid our family dairy goat farm and will offer you the opportunity to visit animals from goats and horses to chickens, dogs, and cats. We milk around 100 goats with baby goats born February through June. In the summer months you'll find homegrown, fresh produce on our roadside stand.
