Cabin holiday rentals in Forest City

The cabin was lovely and we had a great time there . Communication with owners was easy and prompt. The cabin is hidden in the mountains , but easy to find and with good access . We felt safe . The cabin is 100 years old but beautifully renewed , without taking the feeling that you are in a traditional mountain cabin . We also enjoyed the nearby community and the kind people living in the area . We loved the stay and we plan to return .

We enjoyed our time at Emerald Treehouse. The mountain views are exceptional. lots of trees and it feels really private. I will say getting up the hill to the property was a challenge. I'm so glad we drive a SUV. The road is gravel with deep holes, so be mindful of that. Another thing is the house had a lot of pet hair on the furnishings. I know the description said pet friendly, but pet hair was all on the couches and the pillows. We didn't have any pets with us. Overall a beautiful house, I can tell it is well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

Really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is small but very comfortable and well-appointed. The property is fenced in so your dog can run around without going into the pasture. My husband enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck, and I loved the massage chair! Great location, close to everything. Would definitely stay there again!

This chalet is peaceful and relaxing. My wife and kids stopped in for the weekend and we left almost too relaxed! Our children loved the cute fox den upstairs that they did not want to leave. Mom and dad spent many hours on the back porch and lower deck. Great stay and definitely a gem. We will be back!

When my friends and I arrived, we walked through each room shouting, "Wow!" We originally planned for a day trip to Asheville, but this place was so beautiful we just decided to stay in. The highlights were the view from the porch, the hot tub, and the rec room. Highly recommended stay and I wish I could've stayed longer

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Mama. The location was peaceful and private, the house itself was beautifully furnished inside! Loved everything about it. Host was extremely informative and responsive. Highly recommend to any family looking for a well equiped place to vacay!

Loved our stay here! Was beautiful and very peaceful. The bed and couch were very comfortable and being able to enjoy the hot tub and the fire pit made our stay even more relaxing. Would love to go back during the fall. Highly recommend!

This cabin was absolutely magical! We visited on Memorial Day weekend and it could have been more perfect! It’s a beautiful cabin that has amazing views and really makes you feel at home. Our dog Luna absolutely loved the place! They left a whole variety of movies and games for us to enjoy while we were there as well! They also included a list with the best restaurants, hikes spots and things to do! We didn’t want to leave when our trip was over! Would love to come back one day in the future!

We had such a great time at Carrie’s cabin. The view from the deck is just beautiful, with picture-perfect mountain views that made for perfect sunsets by the fire bowl. The cabin itself is clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It felt comfortable and so peaceful, tucked away on a private, spacious green lot. We grilled out, spent time on the deck, and really just enjoyed slowing down. It’s a quick drive into Asheville, but there’s a lot to love right in Fairview. We visited some great little restaurants and trails nearby. Carrie was a wonderful, responsive host, and we would love to come back!

I would recommend Alison to anyone. She was our first host this being our first time using Airbnb. We couldn't ask for anyone better. Not to forget the beautiful house and view. I will never stay in a plain hotel again. I didn't have to worry about me and my families safety at all. Thank you Alison.

Alexis’ A-frame was beautiful and cozy. She had everything there we could possibly need! Finding the place, check-in/ getting in- everything was easy! I would definitely recommend!

We loved Wahoo cabin. It was Private, peaceful, clean, beautiful, and a location very central to all of our planned adventures. The host was very helpful and responsive- this trip left no room for my typical travel anxiety bc she was so proactive and prepared. The private river access was a nice feature I hadn’t realized was available and was amazing. We will spend more time there next time. We were able to kayak devils fork state park , hike table rock state park, hike bald rock, visit pretty place, and visit duke world of energy- all within an easy driving distance. We had a rain day on our trip and enjoyed spending time in the cabin playing games and streaming movies. The host was great! I can’t wait to come back..

We absolutely loved staying here! The home was a short drive or uber ride from Asheville, was easy to find, and felt super private. The outdoor space was lovely for drinking coffee in the morning, there was more than enough space for my partner and myself, and the bed was super comfy. I used the downstairs living room as my dressing room as it had two big mirrors and was off the bathroom, and we cozied up on the upstairs loft futon to watch our shows in the evening. Great art, plants, coffee, and vibes! We were genuinely sad to leave. Would certainly visit again. Would recommend the Local Joint for brunch during your stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Amanda's cabin! It was so peaceful to eat outside on the deck while soaking up the beautiful mountain view! The cabin had everything we needed including dishes including a well stocked kitchen. The only thing that might be helpful for other renters to know is that the parking area is tight and you need to be comfortable backing out of the steep drive down by the house. We did not need 4-wheel drive to get in or out of it, but we were here in June. There is a parking area at the top, but it would be a decent walk to carry bags, etc down to the house. It was also tight for us to turn around up there but doable in our Ford Explorer. If we had driven our Dodge Ram 2500, we would not have been able to turn around up there, and we would've had to back out a very long gravel drive down to the road. This does not impact my five star review. Amanda is an amazing host! We would definitely stay here again!

Such a beautiful place!! We came here to stay in all weekend and the house was so incredibly comfy with everything we could do to enjoy the weekend inside. Jami was so attentive and checked in multiple times to make sure we were settled and had everything we needed. Definitely plan to be back!

Ashleigh was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The house is very clean and a lot of thought as been put into helpful amenities. The hiking trails were a great way to enjoy the peaceful scenery and let the kids explore. We will definitely stay again!

We found this place as a last minute get away and we loved it! It's an old 1800's cabin that he relocated to NC and renovated. It's so cool and unique. The bed was super comfy and there were fun games for us to play while there. The hot tub was clean as can be and he offered some fun recommendations. Definitely recommend!

Boyd is a very responsive and accommodating host. The cabin was very cozy and located in a peaceful, private community. It was well- equipped with all the essential cookware and toiletries. Games and books were also provided. Our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 children, and 1 dog) truly enjoyed our time there. Thank you for your hospitality, Boyd!

Stayed for two weeks. The cabin was just as described and very comfortable. Privacy was top of the list for this stay, and this property delivered. The house up the road was occupied for part of the stay, but the units are situated so the privacy was maintained, and it was clear that Gregg vets his guests to ensure the serenity is preserved. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to drop into nature. We fell asleep to the crickets and woke up to the birds.

We had such a relaxing stay at the Cabin. Ron & Janet have thought of everything you may need. The kitchen & bathroom were fully stocked with whatever you may need. The living room had books, movies & games. My young teen daughter loved the loft area and enjoyed rocking away in the sunroom looking at the babbling creek. I thoroughly enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch. We didn’t turn the tv on once. The cabin was immaculate and cozy. Ron was full of family history about the farm and such a great host. We could have chatted with him for hours. We came Father’s Day Weekend, and the grill came in handy for a steak dinner. Ron & Janet have a book inside the cabin for local recommendations. We visited J. Hartman’s for dinner one night and it was delicious. The family takes great pride in the property. Across the creek you’ll see some small farm animals. There wasn’t anything intrusive to take away from our enjoyment. We hope to be back again soon!

Beautiful house with amazing view . Very peaceful place . Only 10 to Ashville downtown. I highly recommend this place .
