Entering Sabrina's place high up on the green hills above Lungern was like stepping into a picture. An amazing cottage with incredible picturesque and peaceful surroundings. Just driving up the mountain was a nature delight. This was the perfect getaway. The cottage was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. We slept deeply on the spacious bed and the nighttime quiet. Sabrina was super friendly and very responsive. Her hiking and touring recommendations were the best. My wife and I feel that Lungern is the nicest place in Switzerland and Sabrina's place is the best place in Lungern. The place is truly blessed. Can't wait to return. Thank you so much Sabrina for offering it.

Das kleine Haus besticht durch seine optimale Lage mit gradiosem Panoramablick auf den Comer See und die Berge von der Terrasse aus, dem eigenen Garten, der direkten Strandlage und dem eigenen Pool, der im Gegensatz zu den Fotos noch verbessert wurde. Ansonsten geben die Bilder einen realistischen Eindruck wieder. Man muss wissen, dass das Haus wirklich klein ist und es direkt an der in der Hauptsaison sicherlich recht belebten Strandpromenade liegt; also man sitzt auf der Terrasse sozusagen fast auf dieser Strandpromenade, die aber nur für Fußgänger zugänglich ist. Dafür ist es dann aber auch nur ein paar Schritte zum Ufer und hinten raus hat man ja auch noch den schönen Garten und einen kleinen Pool ganz für sich allein. Und in der Nebensaison dürfte dies ohnehin kein Problem sein, es ist alles sehr idyllisch. Daher ist die Unterkunft ein wirkliches kleines Paradies und vermutlich die beste in der direkten Umgebung. Auch unser Hund war sehr willkommen und hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Möblierung könnte ein wenig anspruchsvoller sein angesichts des Preises, andererseits macht die phänomenale Lage dies locker wett. Die Kommunikation mit Rita war hervorragend und unkompliziert und wir können diese Unterkunft daher von ganzem Herzen empfehlen. Wir sind sehr froh, dieses Schmuckstück gefunden zu haben.

Der Aufenthalt im Rustico war super! Es wurde für uns sogar ein Babybett in die 1. Etage trotz schmaler Treppe installiert. Ich werde die Unterkunft sicherlich weiterempfehlen. Der Garten ist auch in der Dunkelheit Dank der guten Beleuchtung benutzbar.

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!

Beautiful place! Right inside a horse farm. The apartment is located on the second floor above the farm office. Two huge bedrooms and two very large bathrooms. New and clean washing machine. We traveled with our children and they were thrilled with the place. The owners of the property were very friendly and highly available by phone (whatapp) Great place!

L' Host è stata precisa, puntuale e gentilissima. L ' abitazione splendida, pulita, superaccessoriata, giardino meraviglioso e ben tenuto. Molto apprezzato anche il parcheggio auto interno e al coperto. La zona è bellissima, immersa nel verde , con panorama mozzafiato. Raccomandatissimo.

If you want to disconnect from your routine and escape alone in nature, this place is perfect for you! It is surrounded by a beautiful forest with a view on the mountains. I would advise you to consider this mountain hut more as a shelter as you might spend most of your time outside (the interior is quite dark and not that clean). Stefano was really kind and responsive if we had any question! (And by the way, there is a super new compost toilet)

Wir waren mit 2 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern dort und haben die Ruhe und die Kulisse sehr genossen. Das Haus ist top ausgestattet mit allem was man sich nur wünschen kann. Emanuele war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit bei Elena im oberen Haus. Uns hat es absolut gefallen, so wie auf den Bildern, sauber, gut ausgestattet, ruhige Lage, ideal um sich zu erholen. Wir haben jeden Tag gekocht in einer super ausgestatteten Küche, Kräuter aus dem Garten verwendet, waren viel wandern und haben viel entdeckt. Elena war gut zu erreichen, hat uns beim Gepäcktransport geholfen, war mit guten Tipps immer ansprechbar. Die Kirchenglocken läuten stündlich, für uns war es kein Problem, eher friedvoll. Wir hatten viel Glück mit dem Wetter, einen absolut erholsamen Aufenthalt und kommen sehr, sehr gerne wieder. Auch unsere Hündin hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Für uns war alles perfekt.

A star rating is useless for this gem in Northern Italy. It’s so far above a “stay” and The Farmhouse is an experience not to be missed by those who align with an authentic natural setting with uniqueness off the charts. And you’ll have to make the effort to enter the property. If effort is your entrance fee then look elsewhere. It’s more than worth the steep hike on a short trail to enter this palace of solitude. Ken is the ideal host and even offered up his garden for our salad.

“A Unique and Heartwarming Experience” The bamboo house, though made of wood, was truly unique and offered a different kind of stay. It was surprisingly spacious inside and thoughtfully equipped—Maria has done a wonderful job setting it up.they genuinely connected with us and made us feel welcome. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for something warm, peaceful, and out of the ordinary.

Wir haben uns in diesem schönen gemütlichen Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt.Die Einrichtung haben die Housts mit viel Liebe und super Geschmack eingerichtet.Grosses Kompliment!! Für einen gemütlichen und entspannten Aufenthalt können wir das Häuschen sehr empfehlen!!! Ale und Nancy sind super Housts allen nur zu empfehlen.

Ich habe eine ruhige, schöne Zeit in diesem hübschen Haus verbracht. In der Küche gibt es fast alles, was man braucht (nur die Schere ist stumpf ;-). Auch die Aussicht ist sehr schön und das Onsernonetal ist wirklich super zum wandern. Die Wege sind etwas anspruchsvoll aber wunderschön. Das Dorf ist hübsch und im Restaurant gibt es viel selber gemachtes.

We had a magical few days at this wonderful house. Outstanding and quick communication from Debora and so, so easy to make ourselves at home. We could not have picked a better location on the Lake for getting around from and....my goodness.....the views from the property are breathtaking! Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable and we would love to return one day. Thank you so much for having us! x

tranquillo e vista mozzafiato. un pò lontano dal centro, quindi da ristoranti e supermercati, ma questo vuol dire anche tranquillo e con una fmvista spettacolare.

We had a wonderful stay here! The bedrooms were very clean, each room had AC which is a luxury a lot of times and the bathrooms were spotless. Almost felt like a lux hotel but nice to have 3/4 rooms connect as it made us feel at home. Sergio was an amazing host, providing us with breakfast and cappuccinos daily. Everything was delicious we wish we could’ve have stayed longer! So we will definitely look at coming back!

Daru’s place is even better than the pictures, incredible views, beautiful bedrooms and fully equipped with all the amenities you may need.

We very much enjoyed our stay and the boat ride was amazing. Thank you for reserving that for us. I’d recommend the 2 hour boat tour with tour of the famous gardens for the Villa del Babianello. If we were to do it again we would bring more food to grill at the nice charcoal bbq provided as restaurants are a jaunt down the hill and we would often just want to stay in. Lovely host and lovely place. Thank you!

Waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier. Schöne ruhige Wohnung etwas abseits des Mainstream Tourismus des Lago Maggiore aber dennoch alles sehr schnell erreichbar

It’s a wonderful place on the mountain with a magnificent view over the lake. The host is friendly and responsive, although it was a bit difficult to arrange a new check-in time when we were delayed due to car trouble. The house itself is wonderful, with a good shower, bedroom with a great view from the window and really comfortable bed, nice kitchen with more than enough utensils. There is nice terrace outside, where you can sit in total privacy, although the chairs could use an upgrade. But all in all we had a wonderful stay!

Un séjour très agréable et paisible dans ce cottage avec jardinet dans les hauts du village d’Avegno. Niché dans une ruelle calme, avec très peu de passage, nous avons grandement apprécié le calme et le cadre verdoyant. Tout le nécessaire pour accueillir deux personnes, matériel de cuisine suffisant pour faire des repas basiques, cafetière italienne et de très belles assiettes. Matelas confortable et un joli tapis, seuls les oreillers mériteraient d’être changés pour un modèle de base plus volumineux et plus ferme. Bel extérieur, très agréable lorsque le soleil descend derrière la montagne. Proximité avec le deux arrêts de bus (Di fuori et Paese). Spot de baignade à proximité (au bas de l’arrêt de bus Paese), mais attention, si vous prenez le sentier qui descend à gauche vous arrivez dans un spot dédié au naturisme, cela peut surprendre. La partie à droite est une plage de galets plus propice aux familles. Bon pied à terre pour rayonner dans la région.
