Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Fornebu

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

Location location location... I wanted to stay in Sandvika, because my mother lived there for 20 years, so I am very familiar with the area and it feels like home. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and feels very private, yet is centrally located, and easy to walk around the area for hiking, shopping, bus/train transfers, and easy to use trains and bus to connect to anywhere quickly. We had everything we needed, and were comfy and cozy and made ourselves at home. Very comfy beds. As described, the sleeping loft has a low ceiling. My daughter is not very tall and is young and limber, and was quite happy up there, but you probably don't want someone too tall up there. Host is very responsive and clearly communicates. They live in the house next to the rental, but we never saw them in over a week, so the rental is very private. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely sunsets from the deck.

It’s a very quiet place, great place to relax and still be connected to the city. Comfortable and liveable. Great place for travels with small animals as well.

Very cozy house, plenty of space but still intimate. The fjord view for breakfast was wonderful! Nice streets to walk in. Jeanette was the perfect host. Kitchen with what you need. Nice modern bathroom. We'll take the trip again ☺️

Extremely nice house near Oslo. Free parking is just outside and charging station is nearby. Rooms are clean and house feels warm in winter.

Henrik & Anders' accommodation is an absolute insider tip. Beautiful and quiet, located in nature and inside just a dream. Henrik and Anders are also very great hosts, always helpful and attentive. We extended one night at short notice, which was no problem at all. We would have preferred to have stayed much longer. A very clear recommendation

What a great experience! This place was so unique, incredibly clean, comfortable, and had such a great view! Morten is an AMAZING host - the best we've ever had. He is very quick and helpful with all communication and very generous with his time to make sure you have an excellent stay. We had a sunny day during our visit, so we opened up the kitchen doors all the way. It was amazing to have fresh air all throughout. We just hung out there until the sun went down, it was so beautiful. One caution for anyone that has trouble with stairs - There is one flight of stairs from the garage to a landing (where the gym is located). Then a second flight of stairs to the main level (which has the front door, kitchen, living room, a full bathroom and the outdoor terrace area). Then a third flight of stairs to the bedroom level (which has two bedrooms and a full bathroom). Then a fourth flight of stairs that turns a bit (somewhat like a spiral staircase) to the loft. GREAT place/host!

Stian was a wonderful Host, he was very helpfull and communicativ right from the start. The Apartment was a dream, right at the sea with also the view of the sea! Thats what you want to wake up to. Its quiet in the surroundings and you can get everywhere easily by foot. All in all asbolutely worth the visit and i‘ll definitely book this again in the future!

Great, very clean and nicely furnished accommodation. Public transport is about a 6-minute walk away. We had a few nice days in Oslo. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely apartment Martin is a very nice and friendly guy

Stayed for about three weeks and had a very pleasant time. Host is very kind and helpful. The apartment is cosy, well equipped with all that’s needed. Small kitchen with kettle, coffee machine, toaster, electric oven, hobs, towels, cleaning equipment. Very nice bathroom with washing machine as well as detergent and fabric softener. Sofa is actually newer than in the photos. The house is in a beautiful area, saw deers multiple times. Majorstuen is under 40 min by public transport.

I stayed for a weekend and went hiking the mountain nearby. It was easy to travel to the accommodation with public transport, the bus stops for different busses are close by. The host was friendly and helped with some tips for the hike. The apartment was clean and cozy, perfect for a short-term stay. We found everything we needed in the accommodation.

Very nice villa inside the room is cozy and has all the amenities you need!The homeowner even thoughtfully prepared items like candy, cotton swabs, hand cream, etc., the bedrooms were comfortable and clean, and always everything was perfect!!It is worth mentioning that the homeowner's garden has been meticulously taken care of with lots of nice flowers and fruit trees to add to our trip in Oslo👍

The apartment is spacious and well equipped with everything you need. It's in a very pleasant and peaceful area, conveniently located for the train or bus to Oslo and there is private parking. Everything was as described. Communication with the host was excellent and the self check-in straightforward. I highly recommend this place.

Maria's home was a highlight in our Oslo trip, I don't think we could have found a better place to enjoy and explore our time in the city. The home is spotless, quiet, very comfortable, stylish, and comes with a million dollar view of the city. We enjoyed the outdoor space and watching the sunsets and the view of the water. The hosts were incredibly responsive, warm, and welcoming- they provided such detailed information that we greatly appreciated. We hope to be lucky enough to return and stay again one day.

Vedran’s place was exactly as described, very comfortable, with all the necessities. It’s situated in a lovely area of Oslo, very walkable to some of the major places we had hoped to visit and had great restaurants just metres away. We also were so pleased with the transit system - all transport was very accessible, which made getting around Oslo a pleasure to navigate! Most importantly, Vedran was very responsive and helpful in communicating and providing directions. A great stay, we would come here again.

Peter and Elizabeth are lovely people. They are both very friendly and helpful. They respond really quickly if you have a question. The apartment is close to two sets of shops, in easy walking distance to both. The 42 bus goes direct to the center of Oslo. There is also a train from Roa. Both are about 5 mins walk from apartment. It’s in a lovely and very quiet district. Had a very enjoyable stay here.

Fantastic apartment and fantastic view. Simple and fast communication, very flexible since I needed to extend the stay by one day. Clean everywhere, lovely bedding and a luxury bathroom! A really good experience! Thank you to the host.

We enjoyed our stay at Russell's place. It is a clean apartment with all amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment has a lovely patio that faces a forest where we found some nice hiking trails in "green space." We took about a 20 minute Uber ride from the train station (probably much cheaper than a taxi) and used Bus 46 for excursions into Oslo (about 30 minutes or so). We cooked several meals "at home," and Russel's kitchen is very well equipped to do so. All in all, if you are looking for a quiet space, that is affordable and clean, this is the place for you. Russel is also very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Thanks Russel!
