Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Forsyth County

Thank you very much for your hospitality. My family and I enjoyed the space. It’s very thoughtfully decorated-great space and the layout very focused on finding areas for family to enjoy one another-watching tv, a great talking space and even pool table. I would definitely rebook.

Dana was so helpful from the start of the booking to the check out process. She gave us local recommendations on food and entertainment, the house is beautifully decorated and has everything you would need. Close to lots of restaurants and coffee shops , will book again 100% next time we are in Winston Salem.

My friend and I went to Winston Salem for a dog obedience show and this was absolutely the perfect house for our stay! It was VERY convenient to our location at the Winston Salem Dog Training Club (which is why we chose it), but Jared’s space was just above and beyond my expectations. There were cookies (& wine) waiting for us upon arrival, doggy potty area (complete with bags and trash bin), water bowls for the doggos, toiletries in case you forgot yours, and a lovely pristine space. The bed was also incredibly comfy - I didn’t want to get out of it!! On top of that, Jared communicated at every step along the way - ensuring we were comfortable and that everything was perfect. I would absolutely stay here again & plan to do so the next time I’m in the area!

The home was beautiful! Very clean and peaceful area! The host was very responsive to any questions we had! 10/10 would stay here again!

The location was perfect, my niece was a block and a half away, so seeing her was super easy, house was comfortable and located close to parkways. All the guests before stated perfectly how the house is. Great Airbnb rental.

This is one of the most lovely homes I have stayed in AirBNB homes. It was a perfect place to visit with family and be comfortable. Every little detail was attended to so that we did need anything! It was spacious and the family especially enjoyed the game room with ping pong! Beds were super comfortable, there was an abundance of kitchen supplies and there were little extras like phone cords in the bedroom! Thank you for the lovely stay - we will stay here again!

My family (7 of us) selected this lovely location to stay when we were in town for our son's graduation from college. It was well worth the 30-minute drive to Greensboro to have a place where three generations could spend quality time together. The view of the lake is beautiful. Our young daughter especially loved the Pac Man arcade game in the basement, the playground in the backyard, and space to explore. The firepit (with plenty of dry firewood!) was a highlight for us parents, the tween, and the young adults - hours with no cell phones :) The grandparents loved early morning coffee on the deck. The kitchen is well-appointed and has everything you need to make and serve meals. Know that if a member of your party has mobility challenges, there are steps required to access the main floor, either inside from the ground level basement or outside to access the front door. But there are bedrooms and full baths on both levels. Thank you, John and Meg, for being great hosts!

What a wonderful place! It was sooo roomy! We absolutely loved this house! A great place to with quick access to W-S and the Triad area! We will be looking for this house in future visits! Thank you Melinda and Luke!

We enjoyed our time at this Airbnb. Neat & Clean. Close to everything, but felt private. Enjoyed the front covered porch and swing, as well. Would stay here again.

Kelly’s place was the perfect spot for our needs. Her communication and accommodating presence allowed us to feel really comfortable in the space. The location was gorgeous and we really enjoyed walking out back on the trails. Thanks for hosting!

I am extremely satisfied from the host. Very helpful and well communicated. I would definitely stay in Lucky’s places next time and I recommend everyone to do so.

I can’t say enough great things about this place and the host. Elizabeth was friendly and responsive and the place had many great amenities. Loved the outdoor space. Comfortable and peaceful. The bed was also comfortable and private with good blinds and curtains to keep out the light. The kitchen had everything we need to cook a fabulous meal.

Host was friendly and answered back very quickly when I had a question. Place was just what it looked like. Perfect for 1-2 people 3-4 if you use the futon fold out. Despite being in a busy city it was pretty quiet. The bed was much more comfortable than I expected. I had a hip replacement a couple of years ago and I was prepared to wake up kind of stiff and in pain like I do when I sleep in other places but I woke up with no extra pain. I was very pleased with the apartment. I had a nice little getaway and a great price.

Our stay was the perfect space for us to rest and relax while we were visiting our family. Despite being June the weather was a little too chilly to enjoy swimming. My favorite morning and evening spot was in the porch swing by the pool. There are friendly hosts and then there are Jill and her family. They were so gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. Quick to answer any questions but ensured we had our privacy too. We have never enjoyed our hosts as much as the brief time we spent chatting with Jill and her husband. There are lots of books, board games, and little amenities like a towel warmer in the bathroom. We had coffee for our mornings and bottled water already in the refrigerator when we arrived- nice after a long drive. We were gone most of the day but arriving at night and having the pool area lit up was so inviting. When we find our way back to the area we hope to find her property available so we can stay again.

It was a lovely place, clean and quiet. I did not like that we didn’t have full access to everything and the front desk seemed not to know we were renting. Other than that I would highly recommend it. Place is clean, looks like pictures and close to a lot of stuff.

Our stay was more than we expected. Lisa and Ginny were such accommodating hosts. We felt like family! We will definitely be booking again when we’re in town visiting our children.

Darlene and Pete’s place was very relaxing. The perfect spot for my partner and I, and our dog. It was just what we needed to get away from the city. Many creeks around the area as well to explore.

We loved staying at Black Bear Cabin! From the moment we drove up the driveway I felt right at home, the property is just so peaceful and beautiful. We saw deer and rabbit grazing every day which my young daughter really enjoyed. Kay was very accommodating and very responsive, she made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin itself was clean and the beds comfortable. We all enjoyed playing pool and roasting smores over the fire pit. The next time we’re in the area we will be booking with Kay at Black Bear Cabin! All around a 5 star rating from me!

Easy checkin, lovely cabin and responsive host. Peaceful and quiet getaway.

Jason’s place is perfect for a short getaway. You can see the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains while you’re enjoying the outdoor hot tub. The place is small but very well maintained and thoughtfully designed. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our time here. To note for those who are not from this area, there might be some bugs. I recommend bringing bug spray with you. Yet I was able to enjoy the place with a peace of mind despite my serious bug phobia. So it’s absolutely fine for ordinary people. Highly recommend!

This was my 2nd visit to the Klump's cabin, and certainly won't be my last. The pictures and description of this site fail to do it justice, as words and images cannot fully convey the sense of peace just being here brings. And then there's all the "little things" that Gene & Connie provide and do that add so much. Little touches inside and out that just add to the rustic charm, yet modern convenience. Snacks, drinks, magazines to read, firewood cut, split, and stacked ready for use. And there's my favorite feature: the outdoor shower. Isolated, yet close enough in to enjoy the benefits of the city. If you need to sit a spell, breathe, and just relax, this is the place you need to go. Thank you, Connie & Gene!

Southern C’s was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Scott greeted us upon arrival and introduced us to the property. He was super personable and nice to talk to and was available throughout our entire stay if we needed him. The cabin itself was so unique and antique but with the necessary modern comforts. Our senior dog did struggle at first with the stairs but we carried her up for bedtime at night and eventually she figured them out on her own; they are just steep and widely spaced. It can be a little warm upstairs for a hot sleeper like myself at night but with the fan it cooled off well enough. Highly recommend taking some time to walk around the property and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The horses boarded there as well as the owners horse are incredibly beautiful and well taken care of. If you ask, Scott will introduce you to some. We plan to return here for another trip.

This was our second stay. Jennifer and David are amazing hosts and have thought of everything. It’s such a wonderful cabin to relax in after long hikes. Hope to return again!
