Holiday rentals with beach access in Fouras

We spent a very enjoyable week in Valerie's apartment. She and her husband welcomed us at the door even though our flight was delayed. A gift of brioche , orange juice and a locally produced aperitif was a nice touch. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything one could possibly need. it was really quiet in spite of being on the Quai which is a hive of activity. She replied to any communication within minutes. Highly recommended.

A very nice apartment with a view of the harbor entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The accommodation is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and the city center of La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The accommodation is also within walking distance of the train station.

Stéphane is a host of great human warmth, particularly attentive and welcoming. His accommodation perfectly reflects this attention to detail: ideally located to discover the region, it offers a peaceful setting, perfectly isolated, tastefully decorated and carefully equipped. The cleanliness is impeccable, and every element seems designed to ensure a most pleasant stay. Whether as a couple, as a family or with a young child, everything is there to make you feel at home. Great Host, large and bright apartment with a very nice decor and many facilities. View from the window of the pretty building of the Marché des Marennes with its Baltard-style architecture and the three restaurants less than a minute away. 10 min by bike to the beach (thanks for the bike:)). The large car park at Place Carnot is 100m away. Special mention for the layout of the apartment (there must be about twenty light points and sockets and the kitchen is used with much more than the essentials). Thank you for everything, we'll be back with pleasure.

We had a great stay at Anne's, who is a very responsive host. The location of the apartment is ideal, quiet, 2 steps from the ocean. Right next to the apartment is a Spa Hotel Restaurant where we were able to eat, the meal and service are excellent, and the terrace offers an incredible view of the ocean.

We had a great time at Bruno's place. Fluid and easy communication. Françoise's entry into the accommodation is friendly. The house is functional, very well-equipped. The bedding is comfortable. The veranda and garden are a real plus. The house is ideally located, the beach, the city center everything is doable on foot. See you soon maybe in FOURAS!

The accommodation is perfect for a stay as a couple. The beach is barely 2 minutes' walk and shops are also accessible in 5 minutes' walk. This is the perfect place to park the car and enjoy. Everything is as described with quality materials. I highly recommend it!

The house is conveniently located in Fouras, it is easy to park there. The city center is a 15 minute max walk. The house is very nice, the garden too. It has charm and character. Very bright. We enjoyed the large square dining room table and the layout of the bedrooms: a sleeping area and a room a little apart with a large bed in 160 + possibility of baby bed. Very pleasant baby cot + high chair if necessary. Stephanie the concierge is very responsive and friendly. The owner too. We recommend.

Nadia place is on a quiet residential cul-de- sac on edge of a village , private entrance & beautiful garden to enjoy. Everything is in Immaculate condition, a great well equipped kitchen that was a joy to cook in & Nadia has thought of everything ! Loved spending time with Nadia & her husband who are both great hosts. For us it was a special place to finish our little French tour . Totally recommend staying here.

We enjoyed a clean , pleasant and well-located accommodation facing the sea. We are 4 bikers who took advantage of sunny weather to visit the Ré & Oléron Islands and the surrounding area. To be done again because there are still many places to visit. Jack, Berni, Gael & Lolo

Good location in Fouras, 10 minutes walk to the city center. Well-equipped house for 9 people, very well furnished kitchen and lots of utensils. Enjoyable possibility to park 2 cars.

Excellent stay in Arnaud's apartment. Very well received by Fadia. The location is perfect for going to La Rochelle in 10 minutes on foot by the sea.

Amazing apartment on the port front in La Rochelle, with great views and in the centre of this very walkable town. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Apartment was clean and tidy with everything you need, including for travelling with a baby. Highly recommended!

Welcoming and responsive hostess Well equipped and clean apartment 2 min walk to the beach and 15 min walk to the center Right in front of an aquatic center (and its parking lot!!) I recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at Valerie's apartment. Tastefully decorated, we were pleasantly surprised by all the little touches and equipment. Great location, we were able to do anything on foot. Living during the day but quiet at night. Not insignificant little more: private parking in a city where all spaces are paid. I recommend it. Looking forward to coming back to this little cocoon.

We had a great stay in Châtelaillon. Everything was OK at Cyril's. We'll be back next year.
