Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Franklin County

I love this place so much! It's been a long term rental and I wish it was forever. Renee is the perfect hostess and now she's my friend. The community is perfect, quiet and friendly. Exactly what I needed for this time in my life. It's been a Joy and a blessing!

Wallys cottage was a great little space in a great location within walking distance of downtown. It was well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay.

We had a few minor issues with the outside lights and pool light not working. Shellie was very responsive. The outside trash from previous guest wasn't picked up by garbage service until we had been there 3 days. We did mention it. The home is older and could use some updates but it was still a nice place to stay with lots of room for the eight of us. The location is good, pool is nice, loved the screened porches, plenty of pots, pans and dishes, plenty of seating in the living room. Overall, it was good stay and we would be happy to stay again.

We had the best time at Michelle’s place! Not only was Saint George Island beautiful, but her house was perfect for us and our best four legged friend 🐶 Michelle was very communicative and responsive during our entire stay, which is always reassuring when away on vacation and staying in someone else’s home. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting SGI ❤️

Incredible! Bill’s Bayside Breeze was the perfect home for our family vacation. The location is nice. We were right on the bay and could launch kayaks from the backyard. The beach access and boat ramp were also a short walk away. The public beach was peaceful and our dog enjoyed it as well. The house was exactly what we needed. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The house is not fancy but very big on cozy. We took food for a week and had everything we needed to make meals. Alligator Point was peaceful and scenic. Will definitely stay again!

Great place to stay. Host was quick to respond and easy to talk with. The location was easy to find and neighborhood is very quiet. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

Bungalow very pretty and in central location to restaurants, grocery, and just a short drive to St. George Island. Furnishings were comfortable and the inside laundry was convenient.

The house was perfect for us and exactly as described! Very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the screened in back porch with just a short walk to the beach! We saw lots of wildlife during our stay. Paul and Christi were very friendly and responsive hosts! We will definitely be back!

Perfect location to enjoy the public beach and have a short drive back to get cleaned up. The community pool was directly behind the unit and the kids and I had it all to ourselves. The bath tub was a great option for my daughter who is disabled and the back shower was wonderful. We look forward to coming back soon.

The house was very convenient to alot of places and also fishing along shoreline is possible. Even with just some wading. The pool was nice as well. Our dogs also felt right at home.

We enjoyed our stay at beach baby! Very roomy, nice kitchen with plenty of cookware and dishes, and the most comfy beds! House looks a little different from photos as they are in the process of updating. They’ve done a great job on the front porch and steps, as well as the back deck. The covered front porch and the partial cover back porch are perfect for cooling off from the sun or being outdoors when it rains. The only thing I missed was the screened in part for the front porch but it didn’t interfere with our stay. I’m sure that will be updated soon as well. You can tell they’ve put some love into this place. 😍

the place was great. most of what you would need for a beach vacation. lots of room and bed options. Good kitchen. Lots of seating but can still find a place to get away from the crowd. Loved the outdoor showers. dual washer and dryers is next level. the pool is a normal size and looks like the image. great place for a good size group.

Six of us stayed at this lovely, brand new home during FSU’s graduation weekend. It is an hour away from FSU, but for us, it was a nice and quiet retreat from the crowds and busy energy in Tallahassee. We had a little hiccup late at night to start out our stay, but Deanna was immediately reachable. She pulled out all the stops to rectify the situation right away and everything worked out smoothly. Five stars for communication.  The home is in a new, gated and quiet neighborhood. It is clean and nicely furnished with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. I would recommend bringing your own soaps, shampoos, etc., as they were not provided. This was not a problem for us because we typically travel with our own shower items anyway.  The kitchen was well equipped and contained all amenities we needed, including both a Keurig and regular coffee maker. Recommended for guests looking for a quiet place near the area’s secluded beaches.

This home was one of the best vacations we have taken as a family. Beautiful view of the bay especially in the mornings and evenings. It was breathtakingly peaceful! We had several children so the pool area was perfect for the littles especially since it is screened in. The older kids really enjoyed fishing off the kayaks and playing on the private beach! We even saw a dolphin. This home has EVERYTHING you need. Really all we needed to pack was clothes. The home was lovely and well kept. We are already planning a second trip! ♥️

My partner, pup, and I enjoyed our stay at Kevin and Stephanie's place on SGI. First time staying at an Airbnb where the host was on site and we're so glad we tried it. Kevin and Stephanie were extremely accommodating, friendly, and resourceful hosts. We felt that we had all the privacy we could want but also loved getting to know them and their sweet pug Betty. The space was cozy and had overall great vibes which allowed us to feel at home. The outdoor space was large & shady and the pool was so relaxing. The hot tub is HUGE (turn on those jets for a real wave pool). If you enjoy fishing the dock is lovely and you can see fish jumping out of the water all around. We took the rec to view the sunset down the road and WOW. Kevin also referred us to SGI State Park which was just incredible. Finally, the beach was stunning and right across the street which made for an easy walk over. Thanks so much for hosting us-- we will be back! Let us know when you have that houseboat ready ;)

Our stay here was lovely, but what really stood out to me was the property manager. We had some car troubles on the way down, and she made sure we still had an enjoyable weekend getaway. Would absolutely stay here, again!

Great place to escape from the hustle and bustle. Super peaceful setting and the home was fully equipped with everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen. Lots of room. We fully enjoyed our stay on the way to take our freshman to FSU. Patrick was the perfect, responsive host.

This place is tranquil,relaxing and very quiet. The back yard is like an oasis. The beach was great. Not crowded at all. We even went to the public beaches on alligator point and they were not crowded. The only downside to the trip was the Yellow Flies. This however had nothing to do with Cindy, it was just the season. We found baby oil or deep woods off worked. Cindy was always responsive to any questions and she had everything for the guest from beach supplies and a wagon to pull it all with. She also supplied firewood if you want a fire. There is nothing touristy if you’re looking for excitement and crowds. I would definitely recommend and would definitely go back.

This was our second stay at The Oyster House. It is a great place to stay. It’s on the water and the new dock is a great place to fish. The house is very nice. Amanda is very responsive if a problem happens to pop up. It is worth the money. We plan on going back again. Thank you Amanda and Jerel for making our stay perfect. Sam Meyer

My son wanted a quiet family fishing weekend for his 15th birthday, and Molly's place was perfect. Her home was beautiful, better than the pictures and the beds were comfortable. The kids had a great time fishing, and using the kayak, it was so peaceful. The fenced in yard and toys provided was perfect for our toddler and kept him busy. We would stay here again, thank you for being s great host.

Awesome views of the gulf from the entire back side of the house. Amazing sunrises from the deck! Just steps from the beach so no hauling your stuff a long way back and forth to the beach. House was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of counter and storage space in the kitchen. Utility/mud room on the side where you enter was great for leaving anything sandy (shoes/towels) you didn’t want in the house. Bedrooms/baths were set up nicely for two couples. Would book again in a heartbeat.

This place is conveniently located in downtown Apalachicola to shopping and local eateries. The place was clean and accommodating.

Perfectly remote but with necessities nearby and quiet for a relaxing getaway! So close to beaches and the house is amazing providing awesome landscape views through the many windows including the lakes and ocean!

The house was perfect for our stay! Bedrooms and bathroom are a nice size. Plenty of room to move around. Kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the property.
