Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Comfy bed. Easy walk to Frog Level. I had to work a little bit and the small office was nice for that.

Amazing, Friendly and responsive hosts!! The place was perfect if you need to stay a little away but not too far from downtown Gatlinburg!

We loved our stay. It was so cozy and I loved the view of the lake right at the door. Such a wonderful area to rest. I liked staying here better than the Terrace. Mainly we had our privacy with separate bedrooms. Just a great time plus we loved the Sunrise on both days.

The nest is in a gorgeous location with conveniently close proximity to both nature adventures and in town perks. I'd recommend the stay to anyone! Especially solo travelers/couples/or besties. Mary was a gem of a host ✨️

I stayed at the Lodge during the off season. Room was spotless and enjoyed hanging out at the fire pit. Beautiful property with everything you need.

Staying at Brittany’s place truly felt like a little slice of heaven. The nature all around made it so peaceful and grounding — it was exactly what my boyfriend and I needed. From the moment we arrived, Brittany made us feel right at home. She was so sweet, warm, and thoughtful, and added so many little touches to the space that made it feel extra special. Even when the electricity went out for a bit, she gave us a heads-up and let us stay a few extra hours to figure out our plans. Thankfully the power came back, but her kindness and communication meant the world to us. Her home was cozy, welcoming, and full of charm — the kind of place you instantly feel safe and at ease in. I’m already dreaming about coming back in the future. Thank you so much, Brittany, for being such a wonderful host! 💛

I loved everything about my stay at Hi-Horse! I was traveling solo for this trip for work and needed the peace and serenity of Hi-Horse. The views were magical and the hot tub was so relaxing! Tanya went the extra mile to make my stay extra special. There was a sweet note and chilled bottle of wine upon my arrival. She also created a wonderful digital guest manual that was so helpful as a guide for outings and where to eat. I would highly recommend Hi-Horse to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway and I will be back!

The owners were incredibly responsive and answered all our questions before our arrival. Once we stepped onto the property, we didn’t need to reach out again—every little detail had already been thoughtfully taken care of. The river that runs alongside the property adds the perfect touch of serenity, with the soothing sound of flowing water making the porch an ideal place to relax. The “man cave” in the garage is packed with games and full of charm—there’s something for everyone! And if that’s not enough, the living room features a full cabinet of board games for even more entertainment. We were drawn to the area by the Highlands Road Gem Show at 1602 Highlands Road, Franklin, NC. This public show is a real highlight in both May and July—always worth attending! Don’t miss Dry Falls—an absolute must-see! We’d definitely stay here again. This home had everything we needed for a truly lovely trip!

Trevor and Joanna’s place was perfect! It was a nice neighborhood. Very quiet. The yard and the house were both pretty and well kept. Although we only stayed one night, we would have been very comfortable staying much longer ( there were 7 of us) . There were snacks available and the information book was both helpful and entertaining! Checkout was simple! We would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Tommy was very helpful and responded to requests for information very quickly. As far as from the time we entered the house until we left, we didn't have to contact him because everything was so well appointed and labeled. The kitchen had nice appliances and the pots and pans were not old and worn out like some houses we have been to. It has a very nice great room to hang out in which is adjacent to the dining area. The porches are big and the view is spectacular. It overlooks a hollow and when we were there this in May you could only see one or two houses in the whole viewshed.

Great cabin super close to downtown Highlands. Looks just as great as the photos, perfectly clean, very nicely appointed and furnished. This was a much better situation for our family over a local hotel. We would definitely come back!!

Love the location and views particularly. Would book again.

A Slice of Heaven in the Mountains! We had the absolute pleasure of staying here and I can confidently say this was one of the most beautiful and peaceful getaways we've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how stunning the home and property were. The house itself is impeccably maintained, warm, and welcoming—clearly cared for with love and attention to detail. Every space inside felt cozy and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout that made us feel right at home. But the view—wow. Pictures just don’t do it justice. Nestled in the rolling hills, the panoramic mountain vistas from the property are absolutely breathtaking. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the porch in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, the scenery is pure magic. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel relaxed and recharged! 10/10 recommend staying here if you get the opportunity!

My wife and I grew up in Sylva. We came home to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We had several questions for Diane and she was wonderful to work with. We will definitely rent this property again. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

This was a return trip to this area and stay in this cottage. We have stayed in the Dogwood and 3 bedroom cottage next door which is also hosted by Carly. Pllan to reserve soon for a summer trip.

we had a great visit, the condo was clean ,cozy, and felt like home. easy access to downtown. parking was a little crazy at the condo because they had a large gathering of folks the weekend we visited. definitely will be visiting again soon.

This was a very last minute trip for my family and I. We literally booked it the day before check-in. Matt responded promptly and was so kind from the very beginning. His home was everything we expected and more. We have never been to the smokies before and with his clear concise directions and wonderful recommendations we were able to find his home quickly and were able to find restaurants and stores with ease. When it says mountain views it means, mountain views. We experienced beautiful sunsets, wildlife, watched fog roll over the mountains and got a great nights sleep!! The amenities were accurate to his description and the pools were so fun! We will definitely keep his beautiful place in mind if we ever visit again and we are so thankful for the memories made while in Gatlinburg. Thanks a bunch, Matt!!! Be Blessed.

A great find close to everything in Gatlinburg! Comfortable beds, quiet at night. Temperature was perfect as they had two AC units. Free, easy parking. The unit was stylishly decorated and ww loved the full size mirrors! We visited Anakeesta and Skypark all in one day as well as the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

In love with this Airbnb! It was our little quiet space outside of the Gatlinburg chaos. We were so comfortable and relaxed and loved seeing the wildlife in the property (we saw four bears!!). Can’t recommend this enough.

Had a great time in the beautiful mountains. The place was cozy and had a great location just a minutes walk or drive from downtown Gatlinburg!

Stayed here for three nights. Chris was a fantastic host throughout - extremely helpful, considerate, and responsive. He was friendly and welcoming, communicated well, and provided clear instructors regarding Checkin and checkout. The condo was absolutely wonderful. Everything was as squeaky clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the mountain-cabin style decor quite charming! The condo is within a 10 minute walk of downtown Gatlinburg, and within an easy drive of some of the best hiking trails in the Smokies, including Rainbow Falls, Mt. LeConte, and many others. Chris’ place is the perfect base for a hiking vacation in the Smokies, or for exploring Gatlinburg. Highly recommended!

The space was clean and the hosts had clear instructions. The bed was very comfortable. Nice location as well; you can walk to restaurants in Gatlinburg.
