What a wonderful place to relax and unwind! The house is simple but charming and equipped with every comfort. We enjoyed the large garden full of fruit trees and the beautiful view. Inside, it is cozy and attractively decorated, with nice places to read and eat together, and outside there are several seats in the sun and shade. The space with the large table under the balcony remains wonderfully cool even on warm days. The area is great if you like hiking, cycling and nature. The canal and river are within walking distance, and the cafe-restaurant in the village was a nice surprise. Mathilde was very friendly and clear in communication. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival, and check-in and check-out went very smoothly via the key box. In short: an ideal place for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature, silence and the French countryside. We will definitely come back!

The cottage is very well placed for a bike stop on the Nivernais canal. Very good welcome from François, very well-equipped cottage, very clean. Everything is perfect. Thank you, it was a pleasure to stop at your cottage during this June heatwave.

I would highly recommend this cottage. Decorated with taste and quality, we enjoyed the amenities and the practical kitchen space as well as the bedding in which we slept very well! The garden is bucolic and the overall setting is quiet and peaceful! We will be back!!
