Nearby are several hiking trails, perfect for exploring the surrounding nature. Sergio and his wife were exceptional hosts: kind, helpful and never intrusive. They'll give you tips that fit your interest. Plus, you have a great garden, fast wifi and that's convenient if you'd like to work or write on a book like me. The deer walk through the garden. If you are in the season, you can use the offer in the vegetable garden, so delicious organic apples, nuts, aubergines, tomatoes, zucchini! You may need to get used to the narrow roads, but the Italians in the neighborhood are courteous and friendly. On your visit, don't forget the fantastic cheese shop within walking distance of the house!
