Monthly Rentals in Freedom

Hygge retreat house. Peaceful and serene. Family friendly. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a sweet package. They also had a high chair. The pictures really do not do this place justice. It was really spacious to accommodate our family of four. We are from Florida and wanted to find a place to connect and play in the snow and this place fit the bill perfectly. The kids slid down the hill in a sled then bounded in all covered in snow for a nice cup of hot chocolate made on the stove. This house feels like you are visiting your great aunt’s cabin in the mountains. It felt very private we didn’t see another human for the entire time we were there. Our slow sleepy mornings were spent cuddled underneath cozy blankets looking out the huge picture windows watching the snow fall on the beautiful view. You will not regret connecting with your family in this little slice of heaven.

A cozy little getaway! The Rusty Goat was a fun stay and at an amazing price. It was rainy with a real feel in the upper 30's while we stayed, but with the two space heaters in the RV we actually got a little too warm and ended up turning one heater off in the middle of the night. The microwave in the RV is very small and we ended up blowing a fuse way before our food was anywhere near warm, but Melissa was very quick to respond and the power was back on in no time! Make sure to check out the store before you leave for fun trinkets and farm products; 2 for $1 peacock feathers!!

Staying at Jaycie’s home was great. Super accommodating, great communicator, thoughtful host, very clean. Gave us a heads up about local events.

What a sweet place! Perfect! We had a restful visit spending time with our friends that live nearby. It was adorable, quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. Exactly what we needed. Everything was sparkling clean and cozy. Will definitely be back!
