Great location. Our family had a great time, minus a few minor hiccups. We would love to visit again.

Overall had a great stay! A few things to note for future b&bers: The only staircase is a black spiral staircase, which was a little difficult for our older family members to manage. The cooking utensils/food storage is a bit on the sparse side, if you plan on doing a lot of cooking/having leftovers, you may want to bring some cheap plastic Tupperware! The bbq grill/beach gear leaves a lot to be desired! It has definitely seen the wear and tear of previous guests. Which isn’t a big deal, but not something to depend on using without some TLC. Overall our stay was amazing. It’s a dream location with amazing beach access. The beds were phenomenal, and I will miss how comfortable it was. Shannon was an amazing host and left fresh flowers and apothecary items for us leaving the whole place smelling amazing our whole visit. I would absolutely recommend Mermaid manor to anyone visiting the area!

The home was just as described. The beach was so close we could easily run back to the house if something was needed. We appreciated the use of the beach chairs and the wagon. We had a great stay.

My daughter and I enjoyed The Gem. We loved the home. The beach was very peaceful. We are hoping to make it an annual trip. My daughter and her friends enjoyed using the beach toys and board games. I was so happy I could bring my pups. This was the first vacation without my late husband and just my girl so having all the “extras” really helped me. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay.

We truly enjoyed our 8 night stay. The accommodation were very enjoyable and so close to the ocean with a private deck access. We did not need to haul our tent, chairs and other items out of the car to the water because the chairs on the deck were all we needed. Coffee was provided by our host and plenty of cooking utensils for us to cook our food from Captain Marks. Loved all the various decorations throughout the unit. Loved reading the notes from previous guests. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Perfect layout for 4 adults and 2 kids. One of the nicer airbnbs I have stayed at. Great location - far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to go into town too. Very convenient market down the street for any items you may have forgotten. I would stay here again!

This house is fully equipped with everything you might need for your trip, including extra cleaning supplies, paper products, and spare batteries. It's clear that this is a home, not just a rental property. Our group of seven adults had ample space for everyone to enjoy their own privacy. We absolutely loved the location! The sunrises and sunsets viewed from the deck are truly breathtaking, and the constant sound of the ocean was amazing. I highly recommend this house for large groups or adults, especially because of the king-sized bedrooms. My only suggestion would be to add another TV in the fourth bedroom. Overall, this place deserves 5 stars, and I would definitely stay here again!

My family of four had a wonderful time at this beach house. It's quiet & peaceful. The location is fantastic - just a short walk to the neighborhood park/pool & 5 minute drive to the beach, restaurants & shopping. The house was clean and cozy. The kitchen had most essentials and the beds were comfortable. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely return

Tara was very responsive from the start and during our stay. The home was very clean access was perfect and the pool was awesome. Awesome game room downstairs with great AC, games darts and fun times. I would highly recommend this location.

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful home! The back yard was AMAZING! The house was very spacious with everything you could possibly need! House was also very clean. The back yard is breathtaking, heated pool, fire pit, plenty of outdoor sitting and even a TV outside. Gloria was very nice and very responsive and answered all of my questions as well as provided clear instructions on checking in and out. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this beautiful home again!

This place far exceeded our expectations. More than we could have asked for was available. From small things to large, this place provided everything we could have ever needed. The communication was very proactive to really ensure that everything is fine. We can’t wait to come back!!

Even when it rained in the morning we were able to enjoy the outside living spaces until the sun came out for the pool. Hot tub was clean and relaxing and much needed after our long trip to the area. Very impressed with the cleanliness and size of the spaces. The area was quiet and pleasant for a calm get away. We were just a quick drive away from the activities of the island but far enough away to enjoy our privacy. Can’t wait to come for our next stay!

Merary was a great host! Peaceful location a hop, skip, and jump from the beach. Easy access and the downstairs shower had an enclosed area which was nice and private!

Owner Mike and property manager Rachel were extremely helpful and responsive. The Lone Star house accommodated our family of 6 and was a perfect location for a laid back long weekend beach getaway.

Great location just down from the beach and the jetty. Large covered upstairs patio with comfortable seating which was handy on the one rainy day that we had while we were there so we could still sit outside.

I love this area and neighborhood, we stayed here last year in a different house. The house is in reasonable walking distance to a more private beach, something I really like. Pretty good assortment of kitchen/cooking supplies. We also appreciated the coffee machine options (side note* if you prefer sugar for your coffee, bring it). The small liquid creamers & sweet n low provided. They provide beach towels. All the rooms had good beds & bedding. Unless I missed it?..there was no cornhole or chairs at the glass table downstairs. The swings are fun but can easily flip, not for little ones. The fence was great to have with the dogs, but did have a couple broken rails where we wedged sticks in. Outdoor shower is great and the dog washing area w/ soap provided was perfect to clean the dogs after beach days. We had some problems during our stay but the owner was quick to resolve them, which is all you can ask for! Overall, nice stay, made great memories and would recommend.

We stayed here a few years ago when the house was new, and we tried again last year but a hurricane came the week of our trip, unfortunately. I am happy we were able to come back this year. The house was just as perfect as the first trip when it was new. Danielle is very responsive and gave us all the information we needed to make it a great vacation and a hassle free trip again. The house is very clean and had everything that we needed.

Fantastic location! Super close to the beach and very convenient for the boat/kayak launch. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it! The high quality sundries in both kitchen & restroom were much appreciated.

Very good beach house. Easy and fast walk to beach. Lots of beach supplies, and plenty of towels. We did bring extra kuerig pods so we were all set. Susy is very helpful, responsive and attentive. And our family had a great time. We would stay again,

The absolute cutest flamingo themed beach house I’ve ever seen! Perfect for a girls weekend just a few steps from the beach. Very clean and all the amenities you could need. Would book again!
