We had a fabulous stay at Villa Altus with seven adults and four kids. The house was clean and comfortable and had plenty do space for everyone. The kids loved the playroom and the games room, and we all enjoyed the fantastic heated pool. The setting is spectacular amongst the vineyard covered hills, and we ate all of our meals outdoors. It was an easy drive to the coast, where we found beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Lina was wonderfully helpful, and let us check in early and out late, which was great for the babies’ nap schedules. The rooms also have blackout shutters, which helped them adjust to the time change. She provided cribs and high chairs for them. We were also really happy that the pool area is fenced and gated, which made it easier for parents to relax during meals on the patio! Finally for the adults, the showers are amazing. Great pressure and really hot water. I’d recommend Lina and Villa Altus to anyone. It really was perfect.

The apartment had everything we could have asked for and more. Beautifully set up with extensive supply of cooking equipment, TV, washing machine and coffee machine. Lok was lovely when we met her her English was amazing and she seemed very kind. She made sure we felt comfortable and recommended places for us to go along our route. Overall perfect experience everything we could have needed for a short stop off.

I spent a month traveling around Spain and Portugal and this space was by far my favorite. I loved staying in a little more remote place. It was quiet and the view from the home was truly exquisite ~ rolling farms and vineyards meeting the ocean view. It’s still an easy drive to Ericerias, but we ended up exploring some of the local farms and cafes that were recommended to us by the host. The space itself is gorgeous ~ very open and beautiful with lovely views no matter what room we were in. This was also the perfect place for us to pause to get some work done and also nurture our art practices. I already hope to come back!
