Cottage holiday rentals in French Broad River

Anita is a very responsive and friendly host. The house is very private and cozy. Everything was clean and stocked. Beautiful views on the way to the house and a perfect little creek on property.

The Red Cottage was a solid stay. My son and I needed somewhere for a quick one night get away and thankfully we found the cottage. Feels like you’re miles away from downtown and a beautiful space. Lots to do within walking distance.

We were visiting Asheville for a friends wedding and this provided the space and amenities we needed for a long weekend. It was peaceful and had a nice patio and outdoor space. It was an awesome suprise to see the fireflies twinkling in the trees by the creek at night while relaxing after a long day. It was just me and my husband but would be nice for a group of adults or a family getaway also. Plenty of space. Thanks for a good vacation!

I am an avid hiker and not from north carolina so i have stayed in many cabins. This was by far my favorite. It was Absolutely beautiful and spotless. James provided a quick tour, was very responsive to messages, and very kindly told us we could help ourselves to what was in the kitchen. 10/10 we would absolutely come back.

Really enjoyed our stay. The view and sunsets were spectacular. The beds were extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Great place!!

The cottage was cozy and outside was breathtaking. Outside there’s a little waterfall that’s beautiful and hydrangea bushes in bloom. Everything was amazing. The only we noticed was the hot tub needed to be cleaned (little debris and hair) but we didn’t notice until very late that evening when my husband and I were about to get in (wasn’t a big deal). Everything in the cottage is clean. The cottage is cozy and very affordable. We stayed one night and it was very close to downtown and Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.

This cottage is perfect! It is located in a quiet area. Francia's place is perfect for a weekend getaway with your dog. My miniature Schnauzer used the doggy door immediately. She loved the backyard. Everything about this place is comfortable! We will definitely stay again!

Beautiful property! The house was pristine, the yard was well cared for and great for exploring. The stream and waterfall, along with the historic mill were incredible. We enjoyed dinners outside, evening walks in the meadow, fireflies, sounds of waterfalls, and campfires with s'mores. Nancy is a highly thoughtful host and provided us with information about the area, fixins for s'mores and an immaculate while also very comfortable house. We explored Pisgah National Forest, went tubing with Brevard Tubbing, swimming in cool rivers, hikes with waterfalls.... and so much more. Thank you, Nancy, for opening your home to us, our kids and dogs. It was perfect!

Donna’s “Hobbit House” was a perfect spot for two. It was cozy and just as described, peaceful and private. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable! We really enjoyed the area and appreciated all of Donna’s local recommendations. We had dinner at The Library and Canyon Kitchen, both outstanding!

Great place, very peaceful and easy to just relax. Very close to bait shops, grocery stores, and marinas, and a short trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg where there are tons of things to do! Added bonus…Buc-ees is not far either :)

A beautiful location, right on the Watauga river. A very peaceful and serene environment. My family and I loved staying here and my 3 yr old son especially loved seeing the geese and playing in the river. The house is older construction, but very charming. It has been updated beautifully for modern day comfort. The host was very accommodating. The hot tub was very clean and very relaxing. We would love to stay here again.

Felt right at home. Our second time here. Perfect setting for a quiet weekend away from the hustle and bustle. Plenty of towels and very clean. Our go to when we’re looking for a cozy cabin in this area.

I believe this was our 3rd time staying at the cottage. It’s one of my favorite ABNB’s. So cozy, so quaint. It’s like my little home away from home. It’s private, quiet, comfortable, especially the bed. It’s a bonus having 2 full bathrooms. Love the original wood floors thruout. Although we didn’t use the kitchen other than to make coffee in the morning, it’s updated & appears to be well stocked. We enjoyed the outside deck in the afternoons. And once again, I was greeted by 3 deer in the early morning. This time I had my phone handy. And to top it off, it’s a short easy drive to Main Street.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy tiny home in Robbinsville! The location was perfect, peaceful, scenic, and close to all the hiking, fishing, and adventures we had planned in the Smoky Mountains. The home itself was clean and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches that made it feel both modern and homey. Our host was fantastic, incredibly responsive, friendly, and made everything so easy. It was the perfect getaway for me, my husband, and our 4-year-old. We had such a great time and would absolutely stay here again!

Bonnie’s tiny home was cute as a button and perfect for our needs. It was spotless, homey, and had all the modern amenities one would need. It was a short one-night stay, which we only wish was longer. Bonnie was an excellent host and we would be keen to return.

We loved staying at this magical cottage! It was so lovely. Ron and Rachel are so kind, they even helped us get a car unstuck from the mud. Definitely recommend staying here!

My sister and I loved our stay at Cabin in the Clouds! The house was beautiful and the view was amazing. We spent most of our time at the house on the back deck. The furnishings were high end and substantial and the pull out couch was the most comfortable I have slept on. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the cabin, there was no dust or dirt to be found, you could tell whoever cleaned really cared about the house and guest experience.

Beautiful home and well maintained. Access to the house was easy. A little difficult to find on the first approach but after we found our way it was no trouble

We just had a great stay at Michael’s place. It was perfect for my wife and I and our 1 year old. The location was peaceful and walkable to downtown Waynesville, which we really enjoyed. Michael was very responsive and had great recommendations for restaurants downtown and other things in the area. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

This place was just what my wife and I needed! If you’re looking for a safe place to stay while visiting the national park, this is it! Debbie was a wonderful host and we will be back!

Jane’s farm cottage is nothing short of a slice of heaven! She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived and the little cottage had everything we needed! I loved the large cabinet that had puzzles, games and toys for young children, what a unique and thoughtful touch. My absolute favorite part was being able to wake up on the porch listening to the sounds of nature and drink my coffee while watching Jane’s precious animals also wake up with the sun. Jane is a one of a kind of host who truly has the gift of hospitality. Anyone who is lucky enough to stay at the cottage will be blessed by her presence and warmness! The cottage is close enough to Black Mountain to have easy access to a grocery store, shopping and restaurants as well. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Christine's AirBnB during our wedding week in Asheville. The house was perfect, in a great location with a view of the mountains from the front porch. Christine went above and beyond when we checked in and truly made our important week a memorable one. We loved every aspect of the AirBnB. It was exactly what we had hoped and even exceeded our expectations. We will definitely try out another of her properties in the future. We highly recommend booking this place in Asheville if it's available :) - Holly & Andrew
