Townhouse holiday rentals in French Broad River

A beautiful home with incredible views! It was well equipped with everything we needed and more. As someone who enjoys cooking, I appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. The home was listed as 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but we were pleasantly surprised to find it was 2 1/2 baths. This home provided a serene view of Lake Lure and mountains with an added bonus of being able to see Chimney Rock right outside the window. The Italian restaurant within walking distance had kind service and great food. The close proximity to parks, quaint boutiques, and The Flowering Bridge were a bonus! We enjoyed this property so much over New Years, we can only imagine how great it will be during the Summer.

Richard and Martha's place was very relaxing. It was nice seeing all the deer on the way in and stopping by the visitors center at the park to see the water. We will be back again.

Danya's condo was perfect for our stay! Literally spotless accommodations, which is much appreciated; very comfortable stay and layout worked well She was responsive to the few questions I had and was friendly in doing so. Highly recommend staying here!!! I love walking, so the walk into the bustling town was wonderful but some may consider it a jaunt, we appreciated being off the beaten path a little, very quiet. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here!

This was a great house to stay at. Very comfortable and home like. Loved the view and the large deck. Had everything we needed including toys for kids. Good area, near lots of stuff to do including using the resort amenities, restaurants, waterfalls and shopping. Would stay again.

The host thought of everything needed in the kitchen, we were able to cook our meals without needing to buy any utensils or prep tools. The house was tidy. The location was perfect so many things to do near by. The water park is literally located behind the townhomes complex. I would recommend and definitely would stay again in the future.

Although our stay was short, we were very pleased with Chad’s place! Beautifully decorated & extremely clean! Would stay again!

This is a beautiful and very comfortable home that’s in an exceptional location, just three short blocks to a ton of restaurants. Anything we might have needed was available in the home and was clearly labeled so we could find it. The bed was comfortable and everything was spotless. We’d definitely stay here again.

Sundrop Community is secluded and peaceful. Met the neighbors, everybody was super nice. Townhouse was perfect for what I needed. I was there to fly fish Caney Fork and the access to 2000’ of riverfront property was great. Two wood burning fireplaces were awesome (bring your own wood). Sundog were amazing and very helpful. The only negative I would say (it is not really negative), the listing indicates it is good for up to 6 people-I would disagree. Although there were 2 mobile air mattresses this place IMO is suitable for 4 people. Would definitely stay again.

This was a wonderful getaway! My boys and I really enjoyed this townhome and the location. Also if we had forgotten anything it was there on site, they had everything for us there. Absolutely amazing, highly recommend!

Wonderful location between golf course on one side and a lake on the other side. Both golf courses are in good shape and we enjoyed two peaceful nights at Chris's place.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is close to everything, but also quiet and secluded. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that we needed, and it was very clean. We cannot wait to come back.

Luxurious place to stay! Enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, coffee bar, king sized beds & new bathrooms. Master Bath shower was fantastic! Hot tub was wonderful under the stars & the horse farm behind with such beautiful horses was serene. Very quiet area & extremely convenient to unload with parking directly in front at the entry door, which was wonderful since it was pouring when we arrived. Would definitely stay again!

This place was perfect for our family and as described. Everyone had a place to sleep comfortably, decorated so nicely, lower level was so nice, kitchen fully stocked with utensils and cookware, but only room for one cook in the kitchen 😊 Tarah was very responsive and friendly from start to finish! Susan’s house was gorgeous, extremely spacious, cozy, and clean! Breathtaking views from every room and two levels of outdoor patio. The only sad thing was that Lake Lure and surrounding areas are still mostly closed and recovering from Helene’s devastating storm damage. They’re working really hard to repair, and we definitely want to return when everything reopens. There was still plenty to do and explore, just maybe check in to things before you go. 10/10 would return!

The location is perfect for anyone planning to go tubing, skiing, or snowboarding—super convenient! Pamela was incredibly attentive and quick to respond to all of our questions, which made us feel so well taken care of. I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Sapphire Valley. Jeff's place was perfect for a couple days in Knoxville. Real close to the UT campus and walkable to downtown. The space was comfortable and we'd stay there again. Jeff was very responsive and shared good recommendations.

This place is amazing ! it exceeded our expectations ! my wife is so very hard to please and with Dianellas place she couldn't have been happier. I have stayed at many places in Helen and this was by far the nicest and cleanest ! when we go to Helen this is where we will stay, we found our spot ! thanks Dianella

Stephen’s place was great! Very spacious and it was super convenient that every room had its own bathroom, especially for us traveling with multiple families/children!! Within walking distance of some local restaurants as well and about 5 mins away from a park/10 mins away from a splash pad.

We had the chance to visit South Carolina in June of 2025 and stayed at Aja's AirBNB outside of Greer, SC and the home worked perfectly for our family of 4. One small thing to keep in mind is aside from a small handful of mini marts inside of gas stations that are 5 minutes or so away driving, you need to plan to pickup groceries before arriving.

The place was comfortable and in the heart of beautiful Helen. The pool table was also nice with plenty of seating, which gave us something to do in the evenings. Keep in mind the switch to turn on the TV and arcade downstairs is located near the stairs above your head. Took a minute to find it. I liked that they had all the kitchen appliances and dishes to cook and serve. And they also had a large blender to make smoothies. To save money, we bought groceries around the corner. The only concern from my family was that the stairs and driveway were steep. Just be careful when going up and down for both. Thanks again for a beautiful stay and hope to visit again!

Spacious and clean home! Plenty of room to spread out. Quite neighborhood, close to grocery and highway for easy access (no extremely curvy or steep roads to get to it).. Perfect for our family and perfect location for Hellbender race and only 20 minutes from Asheville! 100% would stay again! Great responsive host.
