Monthly Rentals in Friligkianika

This traditional house has a private courtyard, situated in a small village with only a few residences. Perfect for us, but maybee not for everyone. We hade a car, so the house was perfect as a base, for island exploring, and as a retreat when we just wanted to read a book in the shade. We often made our own breakfeast and enjoyed it in the courtyard shade before going out for the day to the beaches and the the willages of this beatiful island. One windy day we just stayed at home and sun bathed in total privacy. The hosts lovely mother lives in this willage, Pitsinades, and she greeted us on arrival and got us installed properly. She was such a lovely lady, and so was every else on the island. The islanders are just so lovely, and warm and helpfull.

The house is like in the photos,simple,small and fully equipped,it was super clean, very conveniently located as far as you mention the distances. The host friendly and very helpful,we were very satisfied.

This was the type of holiday we wanted because we were living in a relaxing peaceful rural village community. The location was central to the island so all beaches and villages were very accessible. The accommodation was spotless , spacious and a stunning sunset view each day and night. But best of all the friendliness of our host and her lovely family contributed to a fabulous and memorable one month stay.

Pauline and Manolo's house is a typical Kythira house, renovated while preserving its characteristics and with original materials. The rooms overlook the outdoor courtyard, full of flowering plants, shady and colorful. On the roof, a beautiful terrace with seats and cushions suitable for spending the night looking at the stars. The room is cool and does not require air conditioning. The kitchen, separate from the room but for exclusive use, is equipped with everything. Pauline and Manolo are two exceptional hosts, nice, available to satisfy every request, thoughtful. They gave us great advice on beaches, streets, taverns, things to see. They told us the history and anecdotes of the island and we too fell in love with it like they did and decided to move there. They treated us as friends rather than guests and talking to them was really nice. In short, if you go to Kythira, go to Kiperi House.
