Our second stay here. It’s a really nice place, peaceful, just as described and with charming hosts. The experience with Holiday Cottages was a little impersonal but Peter & Karen, the owners, couldn’t be more attentive.

Loved the accommodation there is a big step from the veranda so be careful it was so nice to get in from a busy day sightseeing and jump in the hot tub.

Absolutely beautiful place to visit. Staff were really nice and friendly and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again thanks to Debbie Dan and Kit

we have stayed at the cottage before and it never fails .When we stepped in it felt like coming home !!!! . the secure parking and lovely garden are such a bonus,as is the hot tub. lovely pub next door with great food .Rowland gives clear instructions about access and the keyless entry makes coming and going so easy,no worries about who has the key !!! if you are looking for cozy and quirky this is the place.

Lovely property and was so nice to have use if a private pool and hot tub. Beautiful outlook from an upstairs living space. Local pub The Alma did lovely food, highly recommend. The owner John was very responsive to any questions we had. Would recommend.

My family and I had a lovely couple of days staying in the cottage. The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the pool was great. It was lovely exploring the beautiful grounds. Also, Donna was very welcoming and helpful. She was very responsive and helped us with everything we needed. We had a relaxing and enjoyable couple of days.

The cottage is spotless and George was very quick at replying and also very lovely. Will definatly be back

A peaceful and rejuvenating stay at the Tea Caddy. We never wanted to leave! We enjoyed the beautiful garden, so much so we ended up getting engaged under the blossoming tree!

This was our second time in Lavenham and our second stay at Esther’s. The house is easy to find (parking outside the front door if available) and get access to. The house is clean, well furnished and had most, if not all of everything extra we wanted. Over the weekend that included a BBQ, fan, clothes horse and some biscuits! Esther is very responsive and accommodating, a great host.

Great place to stay We stayed for a weekend, parked up and never got in our car again until we left . The beach is at the bottom of the road, lots of restaurants in the high street which is walking distance in a few minutes. The house is spotlessly clean it is exactly as it looks in the photos . Tea, coffee, milk and treats on arrival which is always helpful in an air B&B. Would definitely recommend this place to stay

if we had read the description properly first of the adjoining bedrooms and steep stairs we might not have stayed as a couple of people have mobility issues and we were adults sharing so not ideal to walk through bedrooms, however this did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay, lovely bedding and supersoft towels , lovely garden and access to The Crown pub ( good roast) Had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean and furniture comfortable Really like the " steam punk" vibes!

A stunningly beautiful place!! Everything from inside to outside was just absolutely beautiful! Inside is decorated so lovely but we also felt right at home, equipped with everything you could possibly need for a little break! Location is great to explore other parts of Suffolk or equally just as beautiful to stay at the cottage and not venture far! The grounds are lovely to walk around as well as sitting out on the decking by the water which we loved!! Jacqui is a really friendly host, as well as everyone else we met, alongside her beautiful dogs! We felt incredibly safe as sometimes I feel uneasy staying in new places, and I slept so well! Thank you so much Jacqui, really looking forward to visiting your beautiful place again! Xx

Very beautiful place very different quirky place to stay. Wounderful walking paths we walked our dog for a few hours seeing the nature as we went by Lots to see and do visited Jimmys farm lovey place to go with kids.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Barn Annexe. Our stay was perfect. The annexe is clean , very comfortable, peaceful and a beautiful location . We really rated the annexe and would love to return. If you want a perfect restful place to stay this is the one. Plus our dog loved the massive garden as did we. Highly recommended. Thanks Jon and Zoe for being perfect hosts .

The house was absolutely as it looked in the photos - very welcoming and homely, lovely courtyard garden to sit out in and two sitting rooms. We really enjoyed our stay, it was a magical cottage which felt private but was right in the middle of the village. Perfect location for two great pubs to eat at and several lovely coffee shops. Very easy access to footpaths to Flatford and East Bergholt. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Sue’s place is amazing! Super easy clear instructions, very clean and absolutely beautiful! We had our dinner outside looking at the gorgeous wildflower field! Unfortunately we were only there for a short time as had a wedding reception in the evening - we wish we could have stayed longer!

What a special find! Had the most wonderful few days in a beautiful setting, and we couldn’t have been better hosted. Our toddler absolutely loved the play area. Hope to be back! Thanks

We absolutely loved staying at Scott and Sarah’s house. We had the best couple of nights sleep in ages and felt so tranquil the whole time. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a break from the city

I would highly recommend Alex's Lodge. Immaculate throughout, all amenities catered for, comfy beds and settees and showers amazing. We felt right at home, lovely garden to sit in and perfect location. Thanks Alex we will return very soon 😊
