Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Fujimi, Suwa District

Great stay with 4 friends. Much better than we expected. Will stay again for sure next time we are in town from Tokyo.

Truly one of the best airbnbs I've ever stayed! The house and its interior was gorgeous. Clean and really comfortable. Although it was nature all around, the house was still clean and free of insects! Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Masa’s place. It’s authentic Japanese house, well located and very comfortable. We were Teo families - 8 people total (4 adults and 4 teenage kids) and it was enough space for everyone. Masa was very responsive and even came in late on the first night to accommodate our request. Matsumoto castle is a 12’ walk from the house and the main shopping street with many cafes 5-7’ walk. We felt right at home, yet very Japanese :). Matsumoto is a highlight of our trip to Japan in large part due to a unique home we stayed in. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Masa!

Shoko is one of the best hosts we have ever stayed with and her place is beyond beautiful, just as what you will see in photos! Shoko was so so sweet and helpful during our stay. Because of her, we got to see Mt. Fuji for a hot minute during a raining weekend (she ran and knocked on our door at the moment that mt.Fuji was in view) and we felt so lucky! She sent us Japanese sweet every day which we enjoyed so so much! We can’t ask for anything else and was so pleased with the stay!

We had a perfect stay here. The house was very comfortable and had everything you would need. This was the first listing I think I could actually live. We visited 3 nights with my wife and 1,5 year old daughter. Plenty to do in the area, either closeby or an hour driving away. The host was super kind, very quick to respond on any questions we had and gave tips during our stay. Absolutely recommend this place.

Very nice guest house in a quiet neighbourhood. In the morning we woke up with a gorgeous view into the garden and singing birds. The interior was tasteful and traditional. Sachiko was very friendly and kind! ☺️

Huge airbnb that we weren’t even able to use all the rooms for just two people! Located on a main street so it may be a little loud at night with trucks and cars passing by. The room upstairs gets cold at night so definitely dress warm. We didn’t know that this airbnb was located next to a cemetery so it really is personal preference if you decide to book this place. Pros: The good thing about this place is that it’s very spacious and offered full kitchen and bath with laundry! Also it was a convenient location to Mt Fuji activities.

This is a beautiful place to stay if you're ever in Hakone! The private onsen is a great addition. For those with luggage, keep in mind that there are no elevators. Further, we found that with luggage, it was better to book a taxi to Asante Inn rather than take public transportation.

直前の予約でしたがすぐにお返事いただけ安心できました。案内の用紙もチェックインもスムーズでわかりやすく、キッチンやお風呂も必要なものが揃っていました。宿の宿泊者は焚き火台のレンタルや薪無料、および清潔なリネンが嬉しかったです。部屋があたたまっていたのも配慮が嬉しかったです。お世話になりました。またいきます。

Katsuhiro was amazing. He personally drove our things back to us when it was hard to get a taxi and made the stay wonderful. The location is beautiful, and the room was spacious and clean with refrigerator, sink, and very comfortable bed. It is so cool how they have animals around you can interact with and the beautiful Fuji view!

From all places that i have stayed during my trip, this place is the best. The amenities and furniture provided was clean and comfortable. The house vibes was very chilly and relaxing. I loved that its in the 1st floor, so no need to struggle with carrying heavy luggages. Its also nearby to train station, even with heavy bags, its okay. I will definitely repeat this place again.

Very nice staff and perfect location to hike Fuji/see the falls. It was more of a hostel style for the rooms but still very accommodating. Would absolutely stay again.

感谢我隐形工匠的房东！房间虽小，但设施齐全且用心：阅读台灯，大皮沙发座椅和靠垫以及电磁炉都是绝佳配置。尤其房东提供免费状态良好自行车要多夸几句，让我能在沼津市购物用餐以及去车站方便好多，骑车在大街有一种宾至如归的感觉。总体而言，这是去御殿场购物，去箱根泡汤，去远观近瞧富士山，以及去伊豆半岛的性价比极高的民宿。

这里离强罗站非常近，去哪里都很方便，唯一的问题是离最近的便利店有一些远，其他都很完美。尤其是房东gaku，他非常健谈且友善。一楼有游玩室和吸烟的地方，而且这里经常能遇到来自世界各地的人，gaku为我们提供了一个良好的交流平台。

施設のクオリティ、コミュニケーションの丁寧さ、価格、どれも感動でした。 本当に素晴らしい宿でした、ありがとうございました！

Our party of 8 (one infant and one preschooler) has a wonderful time in this property. the house itself was in a quiet and peaceful location just less than a minute drive from the lake. the kitchen was well provided for and the living area expansive enough to fit the entire group. we had bbq dinners with a decently stocked supermarket just under 10min drive away. in a clear day you can see the peak of mt fuji from the balcony. the hosts were very thoughtful and the baby cot was comfortable enough for the little one. one of the highlights is the hot bath and the sauna, both of which were used on both nights. we would love to come back and stay again if we have the opportunity! the hosts were very responsive and very easy to communicate with. a big thank you for making our stay memorable.

ココしかない！毎年行かせて頂きます！！ 嫁と１歳の娘、母の４人で利用させて頂きました。 正直、久々に感動させられました。Natariaさんのホスピタリティに感動しました。 清潔感はもちろんのこと、生活をする上で必要なものは揃っています。そしてその１つ１つが妥協していないもの（例：タオルは今治タオル、テッシュ１つにしても贅沢保湿 etc.）を使用している。コスト的に大丈夫？と思ってしまうほどしっかりしたものでした。 何かあれば、すぐに来てくれて対応してくれた。調味料も無料で提供（もちろん開けていない新品です）。 BBQや焚き火用品なども追加料金など一切なく、全てものは揃っていた（食材だけは持参です）。ハンモックなどもありゆっくりとくつろぐことが出来ました。 最後のお別れは、、、こちらが姿を消すまで頭を下げてのお礼（どこの老舗旅館ですか？笑）。 全ては、お客様に優雅な時間を過ごして頂く、ことをコンセプトにやっているんだろうと確信しています。 宿泊費は人それぞれだと思いますが、私は安く感じました。 騙されたと思って一度は行ってみてください。 私と同じ気分になるでしょう。 Natariaさんには本当に感謝しております。 私もこんな素晴らしい別荘が欲しいのでマイ別荘の購入をする際はNatariaさんに色々教わろうかと思います。 これからもよろしくお願い致します。

Worth staying and paying for a large group. Could enjoy professional kitchen and spacious living room for cooking, dinner and games. If we can use a professional/large dish washer, that could be greater stay as we can have more time for fun. No moldy or foul odor though the house itself looks old. Comfortable to stay. Thank you

I have stayed in many properties around the world and I have to say Matt and Maya’s place is up there at the top. It’s a beautiful home, both inside and out, with easy access to some pristine hikes and walks. The tranquility of this property coupled with Matt and Maya’s kindness and hospitality have made it very hard to leave. The home itself is about 30 minutes from Ueda Station which is a short 90 minute Shinkansen ride to Tokyo or a slightly longer 4 hour ride to Kyoto. There is a ton of nature and quaint restaurants in the vicinity of the home though, so you may just want to stay local. Either way, Matt and Maya’s guide is a fantastic resource for restaurants and places to go like Onsen. Jizo Onsen is one of the best in Japan and you will regret missing it, so go. In summary, I promise this is a gem of a home owned by wonderful humans. I recommend it with all my Heart.
