Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Japan

It was a fun and valuable stay, full of rich experiences. The building and its facilities are traditional, giving a sense of history, but it was wonderful to see that the space has continued to be used and developed to this day.An environment surrounded by lush trees and flowers, and the experience of manipulating fire.It is a space where you can enjoy the changing sky, such as the morning light, the setting sun, and the night sky full of stars, while spending a very close distance to nature, even on a little cold rainy day or a sweaty weather day.I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with the host, Mr. Egakku, and he was very kind to me as I asked about life here.You will also have the experience of openly accepting the unfamiliar and gaining new skills while failing.It is a place where children and adults can spend time together without boundaries and with a rich sense of sensibility.

Very nice guest house in a quiet neighbourhood. In the morning we woke up with a gorgeous view into the garden and singing birds. The interior was tasteful and traditional. Sachiko was very friendly and kind! ☺️

My second stay with Tomoyuki since two years ago. Everything went beautifully as expected. The weather was not cooperating on one of the four days but that allowed me to stay in to enjoy this vintage tradition home and felt the tranquility it presented itself on a rainy day. The hike nearby was kimochīi (feeling great). The izakayas recommended were subarashī (wonderful). Tomo introduced me to spend a day at Mashiko. The famous pottery town was preparing for the upcoming Golden Week event and I appreciated "the calm before the storm" time strolling the quiet town. Some keepsakes were bought. I look forward to another visit soon, maybe in a different season to appreciate the range of activities available around the area.

Wow this was a great find. Authentic Japanese accommodation, 10 mins walk from the train station with easy access to Kyoto. Very comfortable stay here, would definitely come back

I like the house very much. It was very clean and quite, and particularly the bathroom is clean and nice, and the house is more spacious than the photo. If you do not mind walking 10mins from the train station, all other things are great. The host kindly responded and supported when changes of reservation happened. I enjoyed very much the smell from the wood interior. It was my luck staying such a nice place. I like to thank you the host Yukiko for building the good house.

We will properly heal and return to the accommodation that is so relaxing and peaceful. I will miss the morning of greeting birdsong in nature. I also really enjoyed the traditional Japanese grilled experience with the host family. We will make unforgettable memories in a beautiful traditional Japanese house. It was a pity that I only stayed for 2 nights, but I will definitely visit again next time. I'll see you next time with the friendly and warm host family!

My family of 4 absolutely loved this charming, traditional home located within walking distance of many Kyoto attractions. Our 2 hosts were attentive, kind and made us feel at home. One of the coolest places we stayed during our 16 day trip. We’d definitely stay again!

yuta's place was really good and especially it's so private and next to the ideboku farm where families with children will be enjoying the nearby farm. this place is nice and host is very responsive and eager to lend a hand when needed being a stranger around the area

I can absolutely recommend Glou if you are looking for a place to stay in Tokyo. The staff was so kind and accommodating and the location was absolutely perfect for us - the hotel was located in a quiet street but we were really close to various stations, good restaurants and everything else you could need.

I had a comfortable stay with warm, kind, and polite service. There are also attractive shops nearby, and I would like to visit them.My husband, friends, and dog all liked it and relaxed, and I'm really glad I chose ezora. The owner and the owner's dog were lovely.

I stayed for 2weeks. Sayoko was a perfect host, very responsive and helpful with suggestions and booking taxis for Toyosu tuna auction which starts at 5.30am and to the airport station etc. Her place is as published. Clean, safe and with all amenities. Stones throw away from Ginza Street with shops, kombinis, restaurants. It is also near Osaki station which is on the main Yamanote train line...same line as Shibuya, Shinjuku and many other tourist stations. I felt at home and would stay here when I return! It was my first time using a private room, but it was great to be able to stay cheaper and more comfortably than a hotel!There is also a convenience store nearby, and access from the airport is good, so it was ideal for a girls' trip!

Fantastic and very accessible location in buzzing area of Gion and the wider Kyoto region with great views of the river yet quiet and relaxing. Hosts are wonderfully proactive, providing everything you need pre, during and post our stay. We loved the place and the hosts were outstanding. Great place, really close to the major tourist area but private and quiet in the home. 7-Eleven in the building and the washing machine is a life savor

Great location, walkable to train stations including Keisei Ueno station for the skyliner train to Narita airport. Generally peaceful neighborhood. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which we were very appreciative of.

Near the accommodation, it was close to Japanese entertainment and Beppu Station, and there was a lot to eat nearby, so it was nice to be able to buy ingredients and cook and eat at a nearby grocery store. After 8 o'clock, there are many restaurants nearby, so I recommend using a convenience store.

I used it with a couple of friends this time!Not only the room, but also the kitchen and garden were very clean and there were many amenities, so I was very impressed!!The kids were thrilled with the pool!It was so much fun that one night wasn't enough, and I made great memories!I am very satisfied because it was a space that I could not usually enjoy!I really want to go with everyone!

They were very polite and supportive from arrival to departure. It was an inn where I would like to stay again!!

This place is great. a little on thr pricey side for 2 people if you are on a budget. we lived like locals for a week in a traditional Japanese house in a local neighbourhood right by the beach. it's Massive! lots of things to do. Awsome Coffee shop and cafes just along the road. you need a car. more than everything you need in the place oil, herbs and stuff in the kitchen. lots of cloths to clean up. best part all the stuff written in japanese is labeled into English! even the loo! we definitely reccomend syataying here.

The rooms in the city of the sky are spacious and have a great view of the sea.Made us a remarkable experience during our stay, the homeowner gave us the most enthusiastic and warmest service.Although I was somewhat uncomfortable on the island, I was fortunate to meet my hometowner's couple and took us out of the island every day by boat to the hospital, thank you very much, and invited us to eat and drink in the city of Moon.Emotionless, the first stop on your next trip to Japan must be Sky Castle.Thank you again, Ai and his wife, when we come back.

If you come to Hakodate, this is a highly recommended accommodation. I don't think it could be any better than this. I planned a trip to Hokkaido just by looking at the photos of this accommodation, and it was a choice I didn't regret. Akaren is located on the central hill of the warehouse and Hachimanzaka, so it is good to go on foot to see many spots. There were various cooking utensils and clean tableware in the accommodation, so it was nice to shop at the coop mart right next to the accommodation and cook simple dishes. It was a really new and pleasant memory to be able to cook in a foreign country and spend a quiet time with my family. There were many cute spaces, so it was very good as a photo spot, and there were various LP records and cassette tapes, so it was good to create an atmosphere. It was a trip to celebrate a meaningful day, and I would like to thank the host again for providing the best accommodation and experience. I want to see you again.

We stayed with 3 families of 12 people, but there were plenty of beds and we were able to relax!It was great to have a BBQ even though it was raining!

It was a very luxurious inn, packed with everything you could want in a completely private space. The place was very clean and stylish. The quality and location of the sauna, jacuzzi, infinity chair on the wood deck, and large bath were perfect, and we had the best experience as a couple who love saunas. If I had to say one thing, the kitchen facilities are very well equipped, but the optional meals are not great, so I think it would have been better to bring our own ingredients and cook.

Amazing Airbnb with pool and sauna. Super private and quiet area. Beautiful typical Japanese interior with a luxury touch. The host is very friendly and communication was easy. We would love to come visit again.
